Her wailing was loud, attracting the attention of Andrew and Nina, who stuck their heads out of their rooms curiously. Taylor was only 16 years old. She was like a flower that still had yet to bloom. Her beautiful face still had an air of immaturity to it. She cried so intensely that she struggled to catch her breath, and her tears flowed uncontrollably. Her crying was unsightly, but there was still a spark of life in her. That starkly contrasted with the woman who had video-called her on the rooftop, as she had been so desolate that tears no longer came.

She nodded, “Sure, go ahead.” “How old are you?” Roseanne asked. Mrs Taylor chuckled. “Take a guess.” “Umm, forty?” Roseanne answered. If it was confirmed that Mr Taylor married a young woman, she must be very young. Mrs Taylor laughed. “Girl, my husband is in his sixties. We have been married for almost thirty years now.”

I feel a stab of jealousy for having such a supportive family. As I scroll down, I come across images of Taylor with numerous girls, all with one thing in common: flowing silky blonde hair, tiny waistlines and legs that go on forever. In short, gorgeous, everything that is completely the opposite of myself.

He would deal with her later. Across town, in the luxurious modern estate Roderick had bought for her two years ago, Taylor sat on the sun-drenched terrace with her mother. My eyes widened when she came closer and I saw her soft features. She had big brown doe eyes with a cute upturned nose with Freckles on them. Her lips were rosy pink and her body was just perfect. Just my type. She left with our order and started to talk to the bartender. “Hillary Monroe, 22 years old. Her dad is in jail for beating her mum to death. Gail is the name of her little sister.”

I didn't want him to think that I couldn't handle myself, so I kept my cool, pretending as if the drink had no effect on me. At this point, Ryder was a bit preoccupied. He and his friends were surrounded by these surfer groupies consisting of the Taylor Sisters and their clan. The Taylor Sisters are like the Hawaiian version of the Kardashian sisters. The oldest was Valerie Taylor who was nineteen and currently attending beauty school. People called her the 'man-maker'. You could probably guess why. Next was Vanessa Taylor, the Kim K look-alike. She and Ryder were in the same grade. Everyone knew she had a major thing for Ryder, except Ryder himself. He was just too oblivious to notice these

“Every week, actually. He’s better than you ever were.” Jake sputtered. “Dad! What the hell, man? She’s my age!” Greg shrugged again, totally calm. “She’s twenty-two. Legal. Consenting. Very consenting.” Jake shouted now. “This is fucked up! You’re disgusting! Both of you!” Taylor stepped forward slightly, still naked, still dripping. “You cheated on me, remember? Called me clingy?
