F*ck, he should have never taken him in as a pupil in the first place! Yet there was no choice— since he had come here, he had to figure out a way to fix it. "Master!" At the sight, Theodore could not help but call out— yet he had only gotten one word out before Logan glowered at him, shutting him up immediately.

I was never, ever doing that again. --- In Theodore’s Room Theodore took off his stained shirt and tossed it into the laundry basket before walking into his closet. He slid on his air pods, his face void of emotion, though his brows were furrowed slightly. “You were saying?” he said evenly as he went through the rows of neatly arranged shirts. “I heard a crash. Did something happen?” Mason’s voice came through the earbuds. “Nothing,” Theodore replied, pulling out a plain black shirt and putting it on. “Just continue with what you were saying. And send me the P*F copy of the documents you gave me this morning.”

This isnt going to be a good talk. Logan get up from his chair walks to me and places his hand at the small of my back and it sends me chills. We walk to his chair and he has me sit on his lap with his hand s on my waist. "I asked everone here because we have important matters to discuss. As you all know rogues have been trying to get into our territory. The guards captured a rogue today and they found a letter that dropped from his pocket." he pulls the letter out and starts reading it to everyone.

Taking that as interest, Logan flipped open his camera roll and pulled a chair up next to her dad. "These are my dogs, Bo and Peep." Slowly, he swiped through his collection of pictures, giving Theo a virtual tour of the farm. The fields, the hoop houses, the barns, the horses and other livestock. Theo didn't react to any of them. Maybe this hadn't been a good idea. Logan started to pull the phone away, but Theo's hand jerked, as if reaching out to stop him. Logan looked down to see a selfie of him and Athena, pressed cheek to cheek, grinning on the porch swing on the front of the house.

But Logan? Logan was the best.

"Thought you weren't gonna go there, brother?" "Is there a problem, Ty?" "Nope, just saying. We had this long, drawn-out conversation where I told you to go for it, and I distinctly remember you giving me a laundry list of reasons why that wasn't such a good idea." "Yeah, well, shit changed." "Congratulations, man. So when are you bringing her home?" Logan was grinning like a proud papa the ass. "Tonight." "You need help with the move?"

With a freezing expression, he turned on his heel and stormed away. Logan let out a quiet, knowing chuckle, then leaned down to ask if I could grab him a glass of champagne from the bar. On my way back, I once again crossed paths with the two brothers holding a private conversation. “Logan, I never realized you were such a fantastic actor,” Toby sneered. “You’re playing the part so well it almost looks real.” Logan didn’t answer right away. He took his time pulling out a cigarette and lighting it. “You and Chloe seem to be getting along great. She really seems to suit you.”

“Meet that Theodore he’s talking about. See if it was the same Lycan that impregnated your mother.” I stopped. ‘Theodore…. what’s his full name?’ ‘Theodore Leones.’

“As you wish.” He wove his brawny arms together across his chest and flicked his fingers from his elbow as he tilted his head towards the driveway. “Tessa and I are leaving for the Realm tonight. I thought you might want to come to say goodbye to your sister.” For no reason other than to piss him off, he raised his brows and leaned forward at Teddy. “If you remember you have one, that is.” “No fucking way!” Logan went to stand, only to have his father push him back down. I wrinkled my nose at their answers. "So, what're your thoughts? Darien…" June pointed to the creep himself as he laughed with some guys from the cabin he’s in charge of. " Marcus…" she smirked, pointing to Marcus, who was tuning a guitar. "Or the ever-mysterious Mister Logan,” she sighed, pointing to Logan.
