The Alpha King and Alpha Prince had unique phone numbers, and no one had similar phone numbers to us. Feeling confused, I decided to call him, and he picked it up before the second ring could be heard. I rolled my eyes. How desperate was he to pick up the phone so fast? “Pretty lady…” His flirtatious voice sounded instantly, which made me want to puke. “Logan,” I growled. “You didn't know your own cousin's number?” Logan was my cousin, but his pack was located on another continent, and we seldom met. There was a few seconds of silence before Logan’s surprised voice came through the receiver again. “Theodore? How come it’s you?”

Elara nodded, "Mm-hmm. Her name is Merida Jones, but you can just call her Merida." Lesley's gaze softened as she wrapped her arms around Merida, while Elara encircled them both in her embrace. Theodore felt like he couldn't breathe. It was as if a wounded crane had plummeted from the sky. His once proud and striking features turned pale as snow. "Why the hell aren't you stopping this?" Theodore finally snapped, unable to hold back any longer. Finnegan looked at him, confused. "Stopping what?" "You do the killing, and I'll clean up the body!" Theodore had already planned out Finnegan's life behind bars.

She never expected that Thea would show up, especially not after knowing that Logan would be here to support Margo. Everyone turned to see Thea. Her round face and oversized hoodie made her immediately recognizable. Margo’s fury boiled over. "Thea, you actually showed up!" she yelled. The crowd parted as Thea confidently strode forward, not toward Margo, but directly to Logan. Standing at a distance, with a smirk tugging on her beautiful face, she asked, "I heard you’ve been waiting for me?" Logan froze. He wasn't looking at the commotion earlier. He was busy playing with the brunette in his arms.

The largest one blinked to life, revealing the private feed I’d paid handsomely for. Hospital. East wing. Naomi’s room. At first, there was nothing unusual. Theo was standing at her bedside, speaking gently. Naomi looked tired. Pale. Her hair fanned across the pillow like a halo. Even in her weakness, she was divine. Theo leaned over, said something that made her lips quirk upward, then exited the room. I leaned closer, my breath shallow. A minute passed. And then he came in. Logan. I stared, jaw tightening, as Logan approached Naomi’s bedside like he belonged there. Like he had any right.

She slipped her arms around him from behind and purred, "Logan, it's so cold tonight… can I sleep in your arms?" He gave a harsh snort and shoved her to the floor. "Cold? Was Lily cold when she bled out on that operating table? You told me it was just a simple blood test. So, explain how my daughter ended up dead!" Joann winced, biting her lip. "I... I don't know." Logan grabbed her by the hair and dragged her to the TV, slamming her face toward the screen as footage played. "On my wedding night, you pretended to be Bella and crawled into my bed, making me too ashamed to ever face her again.

"Tanner's already here he's in my office." I follow Marcus to his office and I see the gorgeous boy sat on the couch in his regular clothes. He has a good fashion sense, he's wearing a crop top and baggy jeans so I can see his taunt stomach. "Hey I'm Logan, how are you feeling about your first night?" I ask him, signing and speaking so Marcus understands what I'm saying. "Holy fuck you're hot," Tanner signs and I raise my eyebrows in surprise. Confident. I like a confident boy.

"And if you do help me, it's only going up from now." Antigonus looked out of the room and said, "It's almost time. What's your decision?" Logan was holding back his annoyance then. F*ck, he should have never taken him in as a pupil in the first place! Yet there was no choice— since he had come here, he had to figure out a way to fix it. "Master!" At the sight, Theodore could not help but call out— yet he had only gotten one word out before Logan glowered at him, shutting him up immediately.

Marcus taunts,his gaze flickering to me for a moment. Logan’s head snaps toward me, his eyes searching mine. “What is he talking about?” he asks, his voice laced with confusion. I shake my head, my heart racing. “I have no idea, Logan. It’s just another one of Marcus’s nonsense.” I lie,not meeting his gaze. I can't believe this. So Marcus knew about Theo and I all along? Before Marcus can say anything else, Theo turns to the pack.

This isnt going to be a good talk. Logan get up from his chair walks to me and places his hand at the small of my back and it sends me chills. We walk to his chair and he has me sit on his lap with his hand s on my waist. "I asked everone here because we have important matters to discuss. As you all know rogues have been trying to get into our territory. The guards captured a rogue today and they found a letter that dropped from his pocket." he pulls the letter out and starts reading it to everyone.
