which was written in Latin. Taking a deep breath I closed the book once again. I sat back and thought to myself, was my life really in such a horrific state? Yes, over the years I've gone through a lot, I've struggled with depression, I had no confidence in myself ( I still don't) and I got bullied for the majority of my life but I still managed to pick myself back up and glue the broken pieces back together. I've lived through tough family feuds. I mean you'll be surprised to see how many go through the same situations and also manage to get themselves up again, although, nobody should have to deal with so many complications. With a huff, I got up and placed the book on the couch. I grabbed

The Beautiful Silence

The Beautiful Silence

To know that there are people who were actually interested in what I had written still blows my mind. As you know I haven't updated this story in a while. First I was stuck in a week or week and a half long bought of depression. I've struggled with that and anxiety ever since I was in high school, I just didn't know what it was at the time. I have been on medication which helps however I just get into this little rough patches where I just don't want to do anything. Not clean my house, cook any food, not write, nothing. It sucks a lot to be honest.

All the Feels

All the Feels

I'm much too clever a girl for all of that. "Of course, mom. No signed books. Noted." I blow the dust off several bookshelves. The dust burns my eyes and makes me cough. Why do we have so many novels? I find my parent's old love letters gross. I see a book on psychology and look through all the pages. The human brain is a complex maze that requires studying and discipline to unlock its depths. And that's when I see it, 'Chapter 17: The Psychology of Suicide.' The note in my pool bag haunts me—the ghost letters 'J. D' make me gasp for air. Is it a cry for help, and if so, am I too late? If J.D is dead, is it my fault for not hunting everywhere for them?

I read all in one go! The story holds you, and I liked all the characters. Drake is that rough on the edges kinda guy, but everybody loves to have around. The book needs a bit of structure. It's missing some linking words, but overall is a great read. I loved the plot! I'll be waiting for updates.

I am digging this story. I am shocked with all the twists and turns but am loving it. I like how the main character is not stupid and goes back to his abuser. I love how he is strong and the inner wolf does not force him to return to his 1st mate like other stories. I highly recommend this story.

Pucking Hate You, My Bully Captain

Pucking Hate You, My Bully Captain

I skipped another class the next day, unable to face the world. Instead, I sat on my bed surrounded by textbooks, trying to lose myself in the work even though I could barely focus on the words. Shame burned hot in my chest. The investigation emails kept coming. More witness statements were apparently being collected. Brittany’s latest post tagged me directly, mocking my isolation as a “victim act.” I curled up on the bed, phone face down, and let the tears come silently. The depression was bone-deep now, a heavy fog that made even simple tasks feel impossible. Getting out of bed. Eating. Studying. Everything required conscious effort I barely had.

The Day Mom Cut My Last Lifeline

The Day Mom Cut My Last Lifeline

Mom always says that depression is nothing more than an illness born of idleness. People who are truly busy studying don't have time to be depressed. So, during my senior year of high school, I lie awake through countless nights, my hair falling out in clumps as I tremble over endless mock papers. Mom only slides another mock exam booklet in front of me. "Finish this booklet, and you won't have time to wallow in self-pity." At family gatherings, my relatives notice that I keep my head down and barely speak. They ask Mom, "Why has she gotten so quiet?" Mom's face darkens at once. "It's because she's guilty about something, duh. Go on. Tell everyone what you've done wrong this time." Late
