Crossing the line

Crossing the line

“Touchy. Don’t worry, Captain. If she’s writing a tell-all, at least she thinks you’re interesting enough to stalk.” I don’t dignify that with a response, but my grip tightens on the strap of my duffel bag. --- The locker room smells like sweat, deodorant, and damp towels that never seem to dry all the way. Metal lockers clang as guys slam them open and shut. Tyler’s already sitting on the bench, untying his sneakers, his damp hair falling into his eyes. “She’s here again,” he says casually, not even glancing up. He doesn’t have to. He knows. Everyone knows.

Beneath the Silver Moon

Beneath the Silver Moon

Because what conceivable setting could offer a more effective, comprehensive venue for a loud, public humiliation in front of half the student body than the toxic, high-pressure environment filled with flying dodgeballs and the subsequent cruel, inevitable locker-room comparisons? I already know the scorecard. I am not constructed with the flawless, lithe athleticism of Lydia's perfectly toned pack of elite athletes. I am... simply me. A messy composition of too much fiery red hair, intensely green, guarded eyes, a mouth armed with chronic sarcasm, and a body that is, thankfully, just tall enough to potentially knock someone over if I apply sufficient effort and aggressive technique. The gym

Crossing The Line

Crossing The Line

It became a pattern. Dangerous. Addictive. Impossible to quit. Win the game. Celebrate with the team. Wait until the parking lot cleared out. Then disappear. The showers turned into their spot. Not the main locker-room ones with the bright lights and echoing voices. The smaller one tucked in the back corner—three showerheads, chipped blue tiles, a door that locked if you jiggled the handle just right. Steam hung thick in the air even when no one was running water. The fluorescent bulb overhead flickered once every few minutes like it was tired of staying on. It was quiet. Private. Hidden from the rest of the world.

Broken Nightmare

Broken Nightmare

instantly, the beast moaned, “or maybe not…” We turned abruptly as I grabbed the boy’s hand, hearing the beast stirring. I led the way to the girls’ locker room, or at least what I thought was the girls’ locker room. I held open the door for the boys while they tumbled in. I slowly closed the door, making sure the latch re-engaged without any noise. In the dark, the silent rows of lockers seemed almost haunting. The stench of heavy bleach and disinfectant stung my nose, making the janitor’s recent visit obvious.

Tattooed Luna

Tattooed Luna

Opening each door, I had a chance to look at it all. “The teenagers like to come here, hangout and eat before going home for the night. It’s a place to relax after training or just in general.” Jasper stated “Sounds fun.” “Can be or it can be a headache if we have to break up a fight.” Alec had his arms folded over his chest. “Locker rooms are through the training room.” Emmy filled in. “Better head to the kitchen.” Alec looked at his phone. The dinning room had large double doors. There was a few massive tables that filled the room. “There is a more intimate dinning area but this is where we will be tonight.”

I have been in absolutely in love with this book since the beginning. I have enjoyed how the story has continued to develop beyond the siblings and their mates, but to another level of complexity within the familial ties. Amazing writing, well developed characters, not your typical werewolf story.

Could not put this book down on the first read. I am now reading all three a second time. Love the story line. Kris and Alec are badass characters and love their chemistry. Would love another book with the original characters, but maybe some chapters with POV from Jacob and Sherry or Emmy and Jasper

Confused [English]

Confused [English]

Yes, locking up the lackluster teenagers in a room full of corpses lying around to be preserved is a good idea. "Well, I thought they weren't scared." Levino was excited. Levano, however, only gave him a flat glance. However, they were enjoying the riot of the lackadaisical teenagers who were trying to open the door because they could not stand the strong rancid smell, with blood and human internal organs splattered all over the floor of the room. "Those are kids from the same school as the youngest friend's school, right? Like brawling, how cowardly." Levino commented again.

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

Once the girls and I are done, the soldiers will be able to use our room, too. The locker room is as big and as nicely appointed as the rest of the place. We move past a wall of metal lockers, most of them empty, but some with combination locks still holding them shut. I wonder what kind of goodies the owners might have left inside, but I’m not tempted to stop and try to find out. The lure of a hot shower is pulling all of us all deeper into the room.

The Demon Mate

The Demon Mate

I wave back and quickly walk off. I reach my locker. It's right next to the gym. Hopefully, it doesn't stink. Sweaty teens are probably what causes global warming. Especially the hot ones. Hot sweaty teens. That's gotta be it. I've just opened my locker when I sense a presence. I open my locker door and see the epitome of female beauty leaning on the locker next to mine. My eyes widen in shock, but I be professional, and say a polite "Hi." With a smile. Can't forget the smile.

The Alpha’s Penalty

Trevor added, ruffling my hair as I passed. There was a smirk on his face, but his eyes held a sparkle of something else—respect, or maybe just a new kind of hunger. "Bold move. Jaxon looked like he was ready to commit a felony on the bench." "He's always like that," I muttered, heading toward the back corner. Because I was the only girl on the team, the university had changed the facilities. My locker room was basically a converted equipment closet at the far end of the main room, blocked by a steel door.

The All Boys Private School

The All Boys Private School

Morgan Giglio
He replied before adding "The public school in towns invited too so it's a big deal since its a boy and girl event." "Why didn't you ask one of the girls from the public school." I replied curiously "All clear." Matt said as he came back out from the locker room "Neither of you better leave and if one boy sneaks in I'll cut both your dicks off." I stated before walking into the locker room I undressed before grabbing a towel and my shampoo/conditioner and then walked into the showers. I hooked my towel onto a hook and turned the shower on, adjusting the temperature before stepping under the calming hot water. I washed my hair and body before drying myself and getting dressed.
