He looked up. They were close to the vents. Massive, rusted grates protruded from the obsidian wall of the Citadel, spewing thick clouds of steam that melted the surrounding ice into a slick waterfall. "The heat is intense!" Saoirse yelled. "It’ll cook us if we stay in the draft too long!" "Then we go fast!" They reached the vents. The metal grate was red-hot.
