It was bright and blue, just like the old texts said it would be. "We would've assumed it was a trick by witches," another council member continued, his voice grim. "But our people have been dying." I slid my finger across the screen to the next photo. It was a corpse of a man, his skin covered in pulsing black veins, his eyes wide open in terror. The slideshow didn't stop. More and more disturbing images followed. Videos of children slumped over at their school desks. Adults collapsing at their workplaces. It was a never-ending parade of doom.

Real, bone-deep terror. "Dozens," he whispered. "And Emily's picture was right in the center, with a red X marked across her face.”

He said with a shake as he sat on the chair and leaned a little bit sad. “There’s no bad man here, there’s nothing to worry about.” She said to which he only shook his head, “Okay well, what does the bad man look like?” She asked. He gulped, he pulled out a picture from his pocket and showed it to her. “He looks like this.” The picture nearly made her gasp as she looked at it. It prickled her mind as the unforgettable face appeared. It was the black crust of darkness and it looked terrifying. The same one that nearly choked her to death.

Anxious anticipation mingled with dread as I approached, my curiosity warring with a growing sense of unease. With each step closer, my heart hammered in my chest, and a sense of impending horror gripped me. Inside the transparent enclosure, I saw shapes that made my stomach churn and my skin crawl. They were once human beings, transformed through an experiment they never consented to. The mutation had distorted them into grotesque creatures that resembled the mythical werewolves of old tales. Their bodies were covered in thick, matted fur, their muscles bulging with unnatural strength. Their eyes, once filled with humanity, now glowed with an unsettling, feral light.

Its skin was vantablack: the darkest shade of black. If I were not mistaken, Satan was depicted like that in movies, and also religious people had a similar view of him. That was the first time I had experienced such a level of terror. My body was frozen. It felt as if my organs could stop working at any time. The ghastly creature had me stupefied beyond belief. Dread and shooting pain arose in my chest area. I didn’t know what was happening. I had no strength or will to find out. “Cassidy.” Someone called and grabbed my arm. My body shuddered and collapsed like I was having a seizure.

My heart pulsed erratically though there was no pain, only like there was a strong powerful presence hovering over my existence. My eyes slammed shut and images flooded into my head like firing bullets. They came at me so fast and overwhelmingly that I yelped. With them came the good, the bad, and the ugly of all eras. It was the last one that gripped me like the grim Reaper. A few seconds of this vision, I realized it was just like the nightmares that I'd been having today. The terror of the werewolf realm being reduced to a dark abyss of skeletons. Was this to be our end?

Naitee's Pov.:- I don't know how many hours I have spent watching the ceiling and soaking the pillow with my tears. Even after blacking out and waking up on the hospital bed, the scenery of his sick obsession hasn't left my head. Not one or two there were more than hundreds of pictures. Even a slight thought of it didn't help but gave me goosebumps of unknown fear. Every picture was different but in every picture, I was highlighted and zoomed in.
