A comfort that I never realized I wanted but I desperately need. “Thank you,” I sob as I collapse onto the floor, hands clutching my chest unable to contain the pain and gratitude I feel. “Thank you.”

“Thank you for waiting for me…” He shook his head. “No, baby…” He caressed my cheeks, staring deeply into my eyes. “Thank you for waiting for me. Thank you for fighting. Thank you for your sacrifices. Thank you…for your love. I am the happiest when I’m with you and our kids. You painted my life with so many colors. You added light to my world. You made me feel alive. So thank you, for coming into my life. I love you until the skies no longer shine with stars.” He pulled me closer, wrapping his arms around me as our friends and my family from the orphanage clapped for us.

,27 Clara There is always something to be thankful for . Be it something small or big or in between we need to be thankful. As a wife I am thankful for my husband. Even though he drives me mad and sometimes gets on my last nerve , I love him to bits with every fiber of my being . He is my partner , lover and best friend .... above all that he is my teammate . If he hurts, I hurt ,if he's sad , I am sad too and if either of us is being attacked, we have each others backs.

“I love you.” It takes a long time before I bring myself to say it back before I end the call. -- Barbara: I have been fuming since morning, it’s Thanksgiving and I haven’t been feeling the grateful vibes, besides what I am thankful for? No husband, I am trying to get rid of the only kid I have. So what’s there to be thankful for?
