That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Novels & Stories

I demanded, trying to keep my voice steady. Her smile grew wider "Waiting for this moment. Waiting for the upgrade" As she spoke, images flashed through my mind – the Helix project, the experiments, the upgrades. I saw Jamal, his face twisted in a mixture of pain and determination. I saw Layla, her eyes cold and calculating. I saw myself, my mind expanding, my body changing. The darkness closed in around me, and I felt myself being pulled apart, molecule by molecule. I screamed, but it was too late. I was being reborn.

Sylvia. Everyone was lost in their thoughts, especially me. Everything Claire said yesterday coupled with Tess revelation of what I missed while I was unconscious yesterday gave me a sleepless night. I couldn't sleep even when Rick joined his sleeping bag with mine and slept beside me, sleep kept on eluding me. It's so funny how I was happy one minute from meeting my mate and how everything could turn upside down in the same time. Being in this forest has revealed a lot of things to me, things that I never thought I could have ever known. I am the reincarnation of Sapphire and the worst is Rhea is the re incarnation of Ruby which made us sworn enemies.

I had already decided to move, choosing a life in the countryside. I had made this choice willingly to get away from everything here and begin my life all over again. It was then that the police officer regarded me with faint sympathy, saying, "Mr. Smith has asked for you, Ms. Warner. He's been quite insistent about seeing you one last time. Do you intend to go see him?" I stopped what I was doing momentarily. I recalled his smiling face in the wheat field, dressed in a clean white shirt. It was quickly replaced by the memory of his determined handwriting, inscribing the word "mire" in his autobiography before my death in my past life.

The beast told me, to which I smiled and nodded. “Oh! Before I forget, what are you?” I asked him. “Me? I’m a Chimera. Don’t you forget it.” He tells me, to which I nodded to confirm that I wouldn’t. “Rin the Chimera…” I stated to myself, and suddenly the light engulfed me, transporting me to this world I was once in. Now, I’m returning with a new slate in life. The past is the past, and I want nothing to do with it. Look out world, that other guy is dead, and I’m taking charge... Here I come, Rin the Chimera...

Just darkness. And then I woke up. Not to smoke or ashes, but to silk sheets and candlelight. My body was whole. My breath steady. When I raised my hands, they were smaller, unscarred, untouched by fire. A mirror stood across the room, and the face staring back at me was mine… yet younger. Softer. Alive. I looked fifteen again I had been given another chance. And this time, I would not burn alone.

One moment it stood still. The next it was sprinting. Straight toward them. The speed was ridiculous. The ground shattered beneath its feet. Alina barely had time to react. Aria moved first. A golden symbol appeared around her hand. Then she punched the creature. The impact sounded like thunder. The thing exploded instantly. Its body scattered into silver dust. For a second Alina felt relieved. Then the dust began moving. Reforming. Rebuilding. Recreating the creature. "Oh come on." Aria sighed.

Derick muttered something about the kitchen and slipped off, dragging Ken and Ashiel with him—leaving me alone with Dad. “What’s wrong, Lu?” Dad asked, coming closer. I swallowed hard. “I… need to tell you something. Don’t get angry. It’s… a lot.” Dad gave a short laugh. “Now you’re scaring me.” I drew a shaky breath. “I was reincarnated as a boy. In my first life, I was a girl—and I had a mate. Now I’m here, and I’m mated to Damien. I’m… not fully human. My sickness—it’s gone, because Damien marked me. And…” My throat tightened. “…and I’m pregnant with his child.”

The night I cried so hard I thought I might drown in my own tears , and In a moment of weakness, I consumed everything in sight, the icing included. Which was very foolish of me Then again this still did not answer my questions because that night was five years ago. So how was I here again? I sat there, frozen, as the weight of realization settled over me. "I reincarnated," I breathed out silently. The nurse blinked. "I’m sorry did you say something?" But I shook my head, not bothering to explain because I knew she wouldn't believe me. Hell, I barely believed it myself. My fingers trembled as I reached for the phone on the side table. I scrolled through contacts and dialed the one name that

He murmurs. "Once you get reincarnated, it is normal to have a new body and look. Actually... I was kinda jealous as a man because you got cuter in your new look. Therefore, you can have all the chicks, you don't want to? In addition, you had an advantage because you got reincarnated as a ten years old boy." Zenobios explained. "W-Wait on a second, did I died?" Tristan asked while looking at the sky with his right eyebrow up.

To my surprise, because I don’t know whether I got jinxed by the slime I killed or what, I got turned into a slime. This is definitely a jinx.
