Behind me, my warriors still writhed, the rain ceasing but the pain lingering in their bodies.
“Woman, get out of here if you want to be spared,” the leader sneered. “This is a man’s fight. You are just a woman.”
Her growl rumbled across the clearing. Even dampened by the realm, the sound was unmistakably wolf.
“I am a woman,” she said, stepping closer, “but I am also a Luna. I hold the power to destroy you where you stand. Do you want to see?” Her voice was a low snarl, eyes glowing faintly.
