Rule Three wasn’t a warning anymore. It was a countdown.

It was their code and as barbaric as they can get, they never ever break this. Now in silence, they completed the rest of their nine rules. Each of them sat wherever they pleased and was in deep thought over their three individual rules. "Rule #3: The first one to spot target spends the entire day with her." Javier said. "Bullshit." the two others called. Now it was a rule that if 2/3rds of them did not like the rule made, it could be altered, if not, however, it would remain absolute. Javier chuckled,"What? You two should actually just go to school early."

"Okay, we will be watching your every move with him." "Okay, no problem." "But there are three important rules though." "What are they?" "Number one, you can not tell him about this." "I can never do that." "Number two, you must not fall in love with him." "I can never do that also." "And lastly, the most important rule of all. You have the maximum of three months to carry out your job, failure to do so you will be killed and no one will know what happened to you." He said and Lydia froze.

“If you only plan on rejecting me in the end, you should do it now. I mean why should we prolong our agony when it would be what we will be going to do?” Gritting his teeth, he responded, "No. You wait for three months." You have 30days to bring back what you stole from me, and if the 30days are complete don’t blame me for whatever happens to your daughter.” He turned around about to make his way to exit. He nods again to his man which stood in front of me. He lifted me up the ground on his shoulders and carried me with them. I struggled again but it was all in vain.

He was so alluring that it was hard to breathe. Caroline snapped back to reality and brushed strands of her hair back awkwardly, covering her blushing face. Kirk watched as she tried to hide her face and smiled. "Do you still remember our three rules?" "I do." As Kirk watched, Caroline said, "The marriage will last three years. We cannot involve our private matters in our marriage. And last, we cannot fall in love with each other. We will end this marriage immediately if we find true love within these three years."

You mean the contract?” I nodded, stepping closer until the heat of my body was unmistakable. “Three months. No distractions. No secrets. That’s the deal, Selene. And you agreed to it.”
