The Abandoned Bride Married A Tycoon Novels & Stories

"I'm getting you new set of clothes. Seeing your sense of fashion today, and I can't particularly say I was impressed. It's Asher btw." Realization dawned on me, followed by a jab at my heart and an eye roll. I could barely afford my bills, how the hell was I supposed to get clothes that suited his taste? Arriving at my apartment, I noticed that the lights were on. Right. I had to tell Diane. I just signed a marriage contract today which practically means I'm now a married woman. I mentally flinched at that reality. It hadn't set it yet. The reality that I was now married to the grandson of Howard Companies, a multi billionaire.

But he couldn't handle what happened next: Tyeron stood up and hugged the woman. Until tears streamed from her eyes at what she witnessed. Why would she be surprised that the man forgot about her when, after all, he wanted someone else? Gleanne is the one he wants to be with him, not her. She was abandoned by the man because he wanted to marry someone else, and it wasn't her. "Get me out of here; please let's get out of here; kindly get me out of here, Mari," she pleaded, crying and pulling Mari's arm.

He didn't know that he wanted to leave or that he needed it, until his brother made the mention of leaving that place. Although the word "abandon" was not to Charisse's liking, because it made her nostalgic. Their father had abandoned them, their mother had died, years later they learn that their father had also died and as if they were not many misfortunes, they are left without money. But luckily Jared finished his university studies and was able to get a good job at Graham Group, the rest that happened did not exist in Charisse's mind, because she was in a coma, she did not know the course that Jared's life took or his friendship with Robert.

Laura, grateful for my words, smiled weakly while Susie let out a sound of displeasure and stormed off a few steps ahead of us. Sorry babe, I almost called out but held my tongue. I would make it up to her later. "It's just... When we moved to Vegas, all everyone could talk about was the new Mrs Lowell. How she rose from shame to fame. And had nothing before she scored the richest man in Vegas." Laura explained and I smiled. Of course, people thought that about me. No one knew it was a bloody contract that I had been conned into by my very own fiancee. The man whom I was going to marry! He sold me to the Lowells and went on his merry way like some fucking philistine.

Now there were just four of us. “Getting married,” I muttered. His eyes widened as he looked at me. If I didn't know any better, I'd say he was horrified. “No kidding, who's the unlucky girl? Tell me about her.” “We just met, so I don't know much.” “That's all you know about your wife:-to-be?” “She's pretty, and she stole from me.” “Wait, let me get this straight. Someone stole from you and you decided that you'd get back at her by marrying her.”

My thumb hovered over the green answer button. For three days, I had waited. Three days of humiliation. Three days of unanswered questions. Three days of watching my name become the country's favorite headline. ABANDONED BRIDE LEFT AT ALTAR. BILLIONAIRE CHOOSES SOCIALITE OVER FIANCÉE. WEDDING OF THE YEAR ENDS IN DISASTER. Every headline reopened the wound. And through it all... Nothing. No call. No message.

To a stranger, who’d not only walked in to ruin not just my life but my girlfriend’s? Her delicate features did nothing but annoy me even further. I had no doubt that she’d planned it all out and was happy; she was getting married to a rich tycoon. But I couldn’t be deceived. I had her sign a prenup right after the wedding and abandoned her right there at the reception. After all, it was her wedding and not mine. ….. I’d just stepped into my room… when I noticed the decorations and the veiled bride who was now seated in the middle of the bed.

Standing in front of him a few minutes ago, with a cute little girl on her hip. And the girl. Theo, who was now sitting in the back of the SUV, stared out through the windshield at the corner of the street Adalyn had turned into, as if he could see them again. Had she married someone? But she wasn’t wearing a ring. Or maybe she was with someone and they weren’t married yet. He didn't let himself finish the thought. Not yet. Not until he understood what had happened first. Daisy.

After that, he disappeared from my life. Later, I heard he'd been in a serious car accident on his way home, in critical condition, calling my name from his hospital bed, hoping I'd show up. His mother even called, begging me to visit, but I refused. She'd watched as my grandma collapsed at my wedding—she had no right to ask for anything now. As for Bella, Ethan didn't spare her. He took over her family's business and drove them all to bankruptcy, leaving her disgraced and destitute.

"So you're willing to let your own daughter marry that monster because of your pride? Edward?" Melissa continued to rant at my father, and I finally learned the truth from their argument, that the person Edward wanted to marry was Elenore. I don't know how Elenore's original plan to be married to Johnson was suddenly canceled, but all I know now is that my stepmother wants me to be a substitute bride to that monster! There were rumors that Edward was a disfigured ugly beast after an incident. Edward lost his handsomeness and pure soul in a bonfire.
