Luna Luciana looked around, heading to the particular hut that was a little far away from the pack. "What do you mean he is coming back?" She asked the older woman angrily, "He is the true one to succeed the throne, to succeed Alpha Sahin." The witch replied. The Luna held her fist tight, does that mean all her handiwork would go to waste? She had done all she could to make sure her son get his way and she couldn't be more happy when she found out he escaped from the cell bit that was the problem, him escaping.

"You need to figure out what the hell is going on with that pack, and with Rhyder and you have to fix it." "Why me?" "You were going to be their next Luna - would be if you hadn't caught Rhyder and Alexis in bed together. Right?" I hesitated... "Well, yeah, but..." "And they don't have a Luna now. Do they?" I thought about Alexis, about how she must have believed that she would be Luna by now. And for the first time it really hit me that she wasn't. Why? Why hadn't Rhyder made her his Luna? "Grace? I didn't have anyone on my side that could do something. “Why don't you speak to the King about it? I'm sure he can do something about it.” The King? All the way in the Capitol? How was I going to get there and how would I get access to the king? I was just a Luna. Well, I was about to lose my position so I would soon be nothing. “My inheritance is all they're after. And they won't stop until they get it. There's little to nothing that I can do.”
