The Alpha's Rejected Silent Mate By Cat Smith Novels & Stories

"It's no longer an issue. Now that Alpha Ali is out of the equation, you'll accept me as your mate." "Mate? You are not my—" I sniffed the air and his smell—cedarwood was stronger than ever. My beast howled at the back of my head, hurt but at the same time glad that we found our second-chance mate. What. The. Fuck. "See? I know that you're my mate even if that bastard hasn't rejected you." "You disgust me."

“I, Alpha Piercy Smith of Timber’s Pack, accept Brett Willson as my mate, and my luna.” I watched as he brought the chalice up to his mouth. Swallowing his part, he handed it to me. “I, Brett Willson, accept Alpha Piercy Smith of the Timber’s Pack, as my alpha, and my mate.” I didn’t even look as I tossed the rest of the blood back, letting it run down my throat until it was gone. The wave of pleasure and pain shot through my heart.

Liam shouts, and everyone goes silent again. “She’s willing to pay the price. You should accept it.” I hear Nick whisper from the corner of the room. Sitting there like an outsider, even in this situation. “You don’t get a say.” Liam snarls at him and Nick nods his head looking down at his hands. Liam shakes his head and looks at the rest of the group, “None of you get a fucking say. She’s my mate. I’m your Alpha. Try and touch her and I’ll kill you myself.” He snarls and storms out of the room.

“He overheard your plans, Sonya and Cathy. You were both caught red-handed.” “Sonya Hale,” he said, his tone heavy with regret, “I, Alpha Jacob, reject you as my mate and future Luna.” Alpha Jacob rejected. “You will no longer step foot in the Alpha’s headquarters anymore. Both your presence is no longer welcome here. If I discover any more of your plots then I’ll be forced to banish you both from my pack as rogues.” Alpha Jacob’s rejection echoed through the room. Sonya’s eyes widened in shock, her mouth opening and closing soundlessly as she struggled to find the words to respond.

“Alpha Lucien is the nicest alpha I've met. He's your mate, he just wants to know you" “Mate?" I asked, tilting my head to the side with a confused look. “Yes, darling, he's your mate" She says convincingly. “But my mate rejected me. I don't have a mate, I don't understand" "Yes, you both are second chance mates, you're to be there for each other. My head felt woozy as she was talking, I was so confused. It seems Lena could see that as she said, “I'm just going to leave you to rest and process everything". She left.

Damn the mate bond, a scent that should be repulsive to me is now enticing. “Stop.” He says, coming forward. Despite myself, I feel relief. I can buy time with Lent. “Good timing, Lent.” Alpha Reenan says, taking his hand off the lock. “Look at this cunt and tell me that you were mistaken about her being your mate.” He dares to meet my eyes steadily. “She is.” “Well it doesn’t matter. I’ve already told you how this will go, reject her and be done with it. It’s good you have not claimed her, we can discard her before she ever becomes an issue.”

he asked with confusion in his voice. Catherine sucked in a deep breath. “I know you like Lucas…” She was interrupted by Alpha Darwin, who shook his head. “Whatever I had with Lucas was in the past, and you are my present now. You are the one I cherish the most and love now, but I don't know your mind. The only problem I have is that I don't know your mind,” he said, and Catherine’s eyes furrowed. “I know you love Darin, but I don't know if you like me too,” he added. Catherine frowned. “I love you. I love you the same way I love Darin. I don't know why you're thinking I don't love you, but I love you so much,” she confessed, but Alpha Darwin couldn't say a word. She moved close to him and c

CHAPTER 1. I REJECT YOU. CATHERINE. "No." The word is cold and unyielding. Standing before Vance, the alpha of the Sylight pack, I have never felt more alone. "The goddess must be joking," he mutters as he stares me down. "Al... Alpha," I stutter, shaking in my bones. "Very well then, let's get this over with. I, Vance Sky, reject you, Catherine Thames, as my mate." The gasps and shock of the members surround me, covering me in shame and embarrassment.

Perhaps, it was because I had already given up on everything. "My mate rejected me in front of the whole pack. Publicly. After getting another woman pregnant." My voice stays steady, which surprises me a little. "I rejected him back before he could enjoy it too much. Then I packed what was mine and left that same night." Something changes in his face. It's small. If I hadn't been watching this closely I would have missed it completely. "An Alpha," he says. "Rejecting a wolfless mate." "You say that like it's strange."

His voice rang out through the crowd like a verdict. He turned to me fully, and his tone dropped low, edged in command. “Now do the same. I command you.” Tears slipped silently down my cheeks. My body trembled, my heart cracked wide open. Every instinct screamed to run, to scream, to fight …but the Alpha command coiled around my soul like chains. I swallowed the sob rising in my throat, my voice barely above a whisper. “I… Selene… accept Alpha Kael as my mate.” The moment the words left my lips, the crowd roared .. but I barely heard them.
