The Alpha's Rejected Silent Mate By Cat Smith Novels & Stories

Lizette’s P.O.V. “A mistake?” My heart forgot to beat for a moment as my mate chewed his words hatefully, sending shivers down my spine. Alpha spoke out of the blue, “I, Brandon Cameron, Alpha of the Silver Claw Pack, reject you, Gamma Lizette Bancroft, as my mate and the future Luna of the pack.” A volcano of hatred rumbled as its molten lava burned my soul, throbbing my heart with the pain of a thousand arrows piercing it. This rejection was like being struck by lightning on a clear, sunny day, crumbling down my world around me.

Looking at the not too familiar features up close knocked fucking breath out of my lungs. His beautifully sculpted chiseled jawline, lashes that could compete with mine and his dark hair that fell to his eyes, making my fingers itch to touch them. I could study his entire build for days and never get tired but the cocky smirk that curled up his lips and the mate scent that hit my nose threw me right back to reality. ‘Mate!’ my no-name wolf growled again, more possessively and a sob threatened to escape my lips. Alpha Alexander was my mate? No! This was probably some sick joke the moon goddess was playing with me because just how cruel will that ‘bitch’ be?

“I won’t stop you from loving that wolfless girl, son. She’s your mate, and I hope someday you’ll bring her here so we can finally meet her.” “I already told her. I told her I wanted to introduce her to all of you, but she refused.” My answer made Mom look back at me even though she was already about to leave my room. “She’s interesting. You’re Maxwell Dela Fuente, the future Alpha of the Silvermoon Pack, and she still rejected you? Then she’s definitely not easy to get. Isn’t that what you wanted? Now work hard and win her heart.” She patted my shoulder once again before finally leaving my room.

"If that is how you want it." He turned to face the crowd, his voice carrying across the warehouse. "I, Damon Thornwood, Alpha King of the Silver Moon Pack, reject you, Elara Blackwood, as my mate and future Luna of our pack." The words hung in the air like a death sentence. Elara felt the physical pain of rejection as if it were a knife to her heart—a sharp, agonizing sensation that stole her breath and brought tears to her eyes. Around her, the crowd gasped, shocked whispers spreading like wildfire.

“I Carter Reed, heir of Alpha Thorn Reed of the red moon pack, reject you, luana smith of the crimson pack as my mate”. His eyes burning with anger and hatred. A loud ear piercing scream escaped my mouth as I scrambled to the floor, legs very weak, almost limp from the pain of his rejection. My breath seized. Tears poured, almost blinding me as I felt the worst pain on my shoulder bone he marked me.

“Alpha, I found out that Ryan finally has a weakness.” “Really? What is it?” The Alpha thought it might be something useless since Ryan had absolutely no weakness.” He closed his eyes back again, uninterested. “Ryan has finally met his Luna.” Blake told him. The Alpha’s eyes shot open. He turned his head to Blake. “Luna, you said?” he asked him. “Yes Alpha.” Blake replied. The black wolf grinned. “A great weakness indeed.” He got up and moved towards a pile of bones, “To a wolf, his mate is everything and since a wolf can only fall in love only once in their live time, they would do everything in their power to protect her.”

She took a deep breath and said, "Your father and I have wanted to mention this for a few days." Dad looked at me sternly and said, "Your mother is right. We need to talk to you about this before it's too late." This caught my attention. I wondered what was so important to talk to me about. They had explained many things early in my childhood about our lifestyle. I thought they had gone over everything by that point in my life. Mom jumped in again and spoke, "We don't want you to make a huge mistake. Being a strong Alpha means having the best possible mate. You won't be as strong without your destined love."

“Reject me if you don’t want me, I don’t care.” The voice in my head is screaming at me to take it back, but I refuse. If he chooses to be an asshole then I can be equally rude. He is quiet for a long beat of silence, and I almost think he isn’t going to say it. I turn on my heels, ready to get out of here and go back to my pack but his voice stops me. “I, Alpha Zade of the Darkmoon pack, reject you as my mate.” Everything goes silent for the longest second in my life. I can’t believe that he actually did that. I want to scream but my voice refuses to work.

Some Alphas do use different attributes from other werewolves so that while on the road they could give dominance to the others. “Gentlemen, this is what I promised you!” said Alpha Saweh while standing up, pointing at me. As I sat down on the chair in front of the Alphas, I saw my family at the edge of the room, smiling ever since. Why were they so evil? “She is a Stealer that I told you about before. She is mute but she is Alpha Cedric's mate." Instantly they were very boisterous. Some of them saw me as an asset to strengthen their power, and some saw me as a curse.

Closing my eyes momentarily to earn a reprieve from this upheaval, I kissed his knuckles and forced out my words. “I sincerely apologize for my actions, Alpha.” “You are forgiven but I have an enunciation to make.” He quickly pulled his hand away not wanting to share any physical interaction, feeling the same insufferable and amplifying sensations I did. “Yes?” I asked with a gulp and before everyone in his enormous hall, he declared. “I, Alpha Darius Alfonso of Scarlet Moon pack, reject Athena Becker, The Red Huntress, as my mate and luna.” “What…?!” A series of gasps came, I never anticipated he would resent our bond this much as an intense pain shot through my chest.
