I put his furs into a bag before glancing at my Beta and asked, “Noah, do you know how to make a doll with wolf’s furs?” My poor Beta who was gulping his drink suddenly choked and spat out the water in his mouth. I patted his back as he coughed loudly and took deep breaths before wiping his lips with the back of his hand. “Al-Alpha… Did I hear it correctly?” he swallowed and stammered with disbelief. “Alpha Hayden Fallon of the Red Claw Pack, the strongest and most merciless Alpha is… You… You… You want to… You want to make a doll? And use your own wolf’s fur to make the doll?!”

In front of the pups stood Marcus. My Gamma was covered in blood. But he didn't retreat. He snarled, snapping his jaws at the circling enemies. I didn't slow down. I slammed into the nearest grey wolf. The impact shattered his ribs. Before he hit the ground, my jaws closed around his throat. Snap. Someone showed up.” I straightened. “Someone?” “A wolf,” said the one beside him. “ A very big wolf came out of nowhere and took us out like we were nothing.” My jaw tightened. “And you’re saying one wolf took down all seven of you?” “He wasn’t just any wolf,” the third man muttered. “He fought like he’d done it a thousand times. He knew exactly where to hit. He must be an Alpha.”

She cried out softly despite herself collapsing against the wall. She whispered, her voice breaking. “They're hunting… Alpha-hunting.” Her wolf, which she thought she didn't have, ignored her entire life, suppressed, buried deep stirred for the first time in years. The door grew wider and wider revealing the Alpha hand in hand with Jessica! The Alpha was clad in a black night robe and at his side stood Jessica. Both Isabelle and Penny were shocked to the bone. How was this possible?! This had never happened before. And at that time, Asher's wolf came bounding down the steps with a key in its mouth.
