I stared at her, stunned. “What?” “You cannot reject an alpha mate,” elder Ysra said. “An omega who does will not survive it.” My breath hitched. “That’s not true?,” I whispered. “People reject mates all the time.” “Alphas reject,” an elder said sharply. “Betas reject.
