Chapter 222 Raven's POV I stood there with Silver, a mischievous smile playing on my lips, I couldn't help but revel in the sense of satisfaction that came with knowing something he didn't. Despite the turmoil swirling within me, there was a small thrill in having the upper hand, even if it was just for a moment. "Maybe you'll find out soon enough," I replied cryptically, my voice dripping with amusement. "But don't worry, Silver. You'll see."

“Imagine how furious she’ll be!” “She’ll probably hurl something at you,” Silver giggled, her laughter infectious. “You’d better be careful!” “Totally worth it!” I said wickedly. “Last time she made me feel like garbage. Now it’s my turn!” “Just make sure Collins is on board with your plan,” Silver said between giggles. “You don’t want him getting confused again!” “Right! I need to remind him about what we shared,” I replied, swirling my drink thoughtfully. “I think he’ll get it. But if he doesn’t… Well, it’s still going to be fun!”

But if that was the case, why wasn’t Silver also green? Silver scratched his head in embarrassment and looked down. He kept moving his feet in anxious embarrassment whilst sneaking glances at the Emerald Crystal Monkey. The large beast that towered above even Silver gestured a few times to Mane whiles pointing at Silver. It seemed that it understood what Mane was asking and was providing an answer.

Burke murmured beside her. Angling her head towards him, Silver gave him a cold, condescending sweep of his full features before she scoffed and turned around and started to eat. Burke stood up and followed his mother. “Fool." Silver muttered as she cut into her meat. As she raised her head to chew, her eyes locked with Maya’s. Maya looked distraught. Her forehead wrinkled with frown lines, and her piercing eyes are searching. “Hey," Silver murmured. Maya shook her head, massaging her forehead. She blew a loud breath.

Damien answered with a smile. "That's sweet." Damien let out a short laugh, "Don't get fooled by Silver. He might behave in a goofy way but that's because he wants the person to let their guard down in front of him. Silver is the one who does not forgive easily." With a frown, I looked at the fountain outside. The rays of the sun were dancing in the water and the loud chirping of the birds was bringing music to the garden as they danced here and there. The scene was bringing joy to my heart. It was great not to be surrounded by the same walls.

Silver turned and gave me a small smile as she fixed the corner of her dark eyeliner with the tip of her finger. “It’s Kaden and his brother’s place. I just crash here when home gets… too much.” I saw a familiar sadness in Silver’s eyes and immediately, I was hit with a pang of empathy.

I started to remember what Alpha Milo said, and then remembered the gold wolf he has, oh right I already knew, damn I letter my anger get the best of me. “Correct. Just know that can’t happen again.” Almost all of us nodded, but Silver didn’t, she simply stayed looking at the ceiling like she was done with being educated on how much of a brat she is being. She hissed at me as she went to open the door for our first pack Alpha. “Alpha Theodore Bronx, Alpha of the green woods pack, I brought my sons, Thomas and Timothy as one of my boys will be the next Alpha I hope you don’t mind Luna Riverwood.” A man’s voice said. I couldn’t see him from my seat but looking to Charlotte this was the reason she was here tonight. “Welcome Alpha, come on in. We are having everyone come to the sitting room to meet her so please follow me.” I heard the Luna’s voice come down the short hallway.
