The Beta's Scarred Mate: A Loner to Luna Prequel

The Beta's Scarred Mate: A Loner to Luna Prequel

Joshua smiled, “That’s good. I already linked mom and Matt. I’m sure they’ll be here soon.” As soon as he finished talking, Honi burst through the door, “Izzy! How are you doing? Any pain? I can make some tea for you that will help with pain.” I chuckled, “I haven’t had any pain at all. I had a short back ache this morning, and a little tightness in my belly all day, but no pain.” Her eyebrows raised, “Really? Are you serious?” I laughed as I nodded, “Really.” She just shook her head, “You’re unbelievable.” I shrugged, “I must have a really high pain tolerance.”

PRETEND PRINCESS

PRETEND PRINCESS

I croaked. "That's really the point," he said with a small, sad laugh. "I have to escape all that. I was becoming toxic even to myself. Even Suzu will confirm it." And as summoned, Suzu — our three-legged baby— crawled out from under the bed, whelping quietly. I hadn't even noticed her before. She was clinging to my foot, whining. My throat scorched. I looked up at Yuki, barely seeing through the burning tears gathering in my eyes.

This book is really interesting and I'm waiting for more updates. Yuyu really is a walking colour disaster sometimes but I love it. Both Creed and Yuyu should sort out their messy relationship before getting together. I can already sense the tension though. Good job author and success to this book

I was coming here to say this but someone beat me to it. author please do something about the repeated chapters it we can't keep paying for sane thing over and over and to think that two chapters was rephrase to look different is not fair :((

A little Bit of Faith

A little Bit of Faith

It’s been the best 4 years in business. “Mommy…” Izzy says, looking at me, looking white as a sheet of paper. “What's wrong baby?” I ask as a stabbing pain worms its way from my lower abdomen around to my back. A scream rips from my lips, and Izzy joins in out of fear. His tears stream down his face as he tries to decide if he should come to me for comfort or run away and hide. “It’s ok baby. It’s ok.” “Mommy, you bleeding.” he sobs as he jumps into action and grabs a towel from the dirty laundry basket. Placing his stuffed puppy to the side, he steps into the room and promptly tries to wipe up the mess. My heart swells.

I truly fell in love with this book! So many emotions while reading this book. Very well written and relatable. I'm glad to see authors supporting other authors. Otherwise I may not have came across this book. I can't wait to read more of your work.

This book isn’t the typical man whore teenage high school story. I love it. It breaks the norm. Full of drama if u need it, but not too much that ur suffocating from it. This book teaches the importance of healing from physical violence. Both main and both sub characters are amazing. Just loved it!

Alpha Reid and the Hybrids

Alpha Reid and the Hybrids

Just as I start to turn away the door opens. "Izzy!" I say softly as I feel the tears well up. "Jules!" Izzy says as her own eyes tear up. We both move forward wrapping our arms around each other. " I missed you so much Izzy!" I said with tears running down my face. "Oh Jules, I missed you too! You have no idea!" She said as she's held me tighter .... "Oh my gosh watch this part!" Izzy says. I watched the screen as the red guy called Deadpool has his arms folded while in the air and lands with his private parts on the other guy's face. Izzy burst into a fit of laughter while tapping the bed.

Marriage For Pleasure (English)

Marriage For Pleasure (English)

Before going down, Daphne first wiped her tears and then tore the long gown she was wearing until it reached her knees. “Ow! That's my girl! My best friend is sexy! "Izzy screamed. When they got inside, they immediately ordered three glasses of tequila and drank it right away. She's hurting deep inside, but she manages to ease the pain. She had to get rid of the pain with alcohol. She had no intention of being sad and just cried beside her best friend because of what happened and because she was hurt.

My Second Lead

My Second Lead

She was kind of surprised and distracted. I started telling Hina that I saw her and our teacher then kissing as if they were about to run out of breath. "It is excruciating and depressing to see your beloved woman flirting with others," I said while my tears fell on my face. All the pain then instantly felt as if someone was pinching my heart. "Shit! Damn Inei Mizuki, Why are you crying in front of her?" -I told myself, and it seems to be killing me with shame.

His Rejection, His Loss

His Rejection, His Loss

I smiled and shook my head signaling 'no' that I wasn't crying, but he didn't buy my act, because my puffy red eyes must have given me away. Alpha Izaak pulled me into him and wrapped his arms around me. "You have every right to cry," he whispered, patting my back gently, as I sobbed into his chest, unable to contain my emotions any longer. "Let it all out." My tears flowed freely without any form of restraint. At first, I didn't want him to see me crying but everything was so overwhelming. Alpha Izaak continued patting my back gently, offering silent support as I let out all the pent-up emotions.

I’m hooked just from reading the synopsis. I haven’t even started the book yet. I am hesitant to start since it is t completed. Do you know about how close it is to being finished? Is it fairly close or does it still have tons of chapters left?
Cassandra Jeans
Hi Tilly, just wondering how often this book is updated? I’ve been enjoying the reading so far and can’t wait to hear what happens next with Fiona and the Alpha. Who this Felix character is and further what are his future plans. Thanks

A Queen Among Darkness

A Queen Among Darkness

He even took care of that bullet wound of hers so now she won’t have a scar, but that’s the extent of the good news I have. A couple days after Alaric’s visit Izzy had a vision that shook her to her core so deeply, that she hasn’t recovered from it yet. Standing in the doorway of her library, I watch attentively as she sits on the floor, her body glowing with that familiar bright purple as she meditates surrounded by crystals. Each one has a different purpose, but I’m having trouble keeping them all straight. She’s been doing this every day. Meditating and trying to call on more visions that might do some good, but nothing happens. Doesn’t stop her from trying though.

This is by far my favorite book in this entire series. Not every author can write a same-sex relationship and make it so layered and nuanced instead of "corny". A.D. Burnell is a Queen Among Authors, and I can't wait until they get thr recognition they so thoroughly deserve.

One of the things i love about this series is that you think you know everything, and then you start the next book and so many layers are peeled back that blow your mind. it makes this the most addictive series ever

Alpha Damon's Sinner Luna

Alpha Damon's Sinner Luna

Curly wanted to hear more on that but sadly, Damon left her with no details. All of a sudden, Izzy kicked the bowl of flowers they've been picking and began crying. A loud distressed cry filled with so much pain. "Izzy! Elizabeth!!" Curly rushed to her, bending before her and holding her hands. "What's wrong? Don't you want to play anymore?" Izzy's eyes remained wild. She stared at the space before her unseeingly, "no no..no" she cried painfully. "What is it Izzy? Talk to me!!" Curly was in panic by seeing her niece this way.

His Claws On My Neck

His Claws On My Neck

“Leal! Oh my God!” Izzy pulled her in for a hug at the speed of light, which knocked the air out of her lungs, but she couldn’t care less. Tears were streaming down both their faces as they remained in each other’s arms, just quietly crying. The warmth of your best friend’s hug after a rough few days just hits differently. “I missed you so much,” mumbled Izzy with a shaky voice. She pulled away and wiped her tears, chuckling slightly. “I’m sorry, you had to see the condo in such a mess.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Deku's tears in 'My Hero Academia' are honestly one of the most humanizing things about his character. He isn't some stoic, unshakable hero—he's a kid who feels everything intensely, from overwhelming gratitude to crushing self-doubt. Remember the scene where All Might tells him he can become a hero? The flood of relief and joy after years of being told he was worthless? That kind of emotional release isn't just realistic; it's cathartic for viewers who've faced their own setbacks.

What I love is how his crying evolves. Early on, it's often from insecurity or fear, like during the entrance exam. Later, though, his tears stem from empathy—seeing others suffer or witnessing true heroism. It mirrors his growth from a quirkless fanboy to someone who understands the weight of saving people. The series frames his sensitivity as a strength, not a weakness, which is refreshing in a genre full of 'cool' emotionless protagonists.
