Garret, looking down at the ground, says, "I itch like crazy, and I'm man enough to admit it." I would hug him if King wouldn't kill him for it. I turn to his highness. "You had better find that lake fast. The fleas infested us all." He growls at Garret for daring to speak to me, but that's it and I'm grateful. King leads us to the lake. Her mouths was wide open as she watched the video of their warehouse on fire and fire fighters trying their best to put it out. "Dad what happened? Why the warehouse suddenly caught fire? " She asked. "I don't know, the manger just sent me video , all the goods are gone nothing survived the fire " Mr Kingsley said and Mrs Kingsley eyes widened. "What?!! All the goods are gone!!! The goods you just restocked days ago have all burned down with warehouse?!!! " Mrs Kingsley yelled and her husband glared angrily at her , he was visibly annoyed with her. "Get out of my way! I have to go and see for myself! " He yelled angrily and pushed her away rushing out of the house.

Dizziness and teary eyes overwhelmed her, and she was a complete wreck. The crowd gradually dispersed upon their King's dismissal, leaving him behind for a moment longer. His troubled gaze remained fixed on her, on her imploring eyes seeking mercy—an elusive mercy he could not grant. With a final glance, he rose, following his son Ubbe, who wore a similar troubled expression. In the face of King Ragnar's unwavering decision, Sophie turned to Aslaug, finding sorrow mirrored in her eyes.
