The Auction Dramione Audiobook Novels & Stories

He called Mic and whispered something in his ears which seemed to brighten his eyes "Alright listen up!. We have a public auction in the house, 3 extremely beautiful girls sold to the king's messenger at 4.9 million dollars! I don't know their names and I couldn't care less so let's just describe them yeah? Red hair with green eyes and average height" the man said and I froze. No! No! It can't be! "Tall, black hair with hazel eyes" that's Ciara and I saw her smile in relieve and watched as her smile got bigger when he called Janice

"Ms. Remington, Mr. Reed asked me to give this to you. He said that once you see it, you'll forgive him." Confused, I took the tablet and turned it on. A live stream appeared on the screen, and the setting was hauntingly familiar. It was the same auction house where I had been held. Only this time, the person in the iron cage was Caroline. Soon, a bidder raised their paddle and called for her to be brought on stage. Terror filled her eyes as she was strapped to the iron frame. Everything I had endured was being reenacted on her body. Finally, Caroline was dragged away and thrown to a group of filthy vagrants. The room was filled with the sound of her chilling screams.

" Another step towards my wife and it'll be the last you'll ever take Do not test my patience Ivy.” “You won't get away with this Damien! You'll hear from my mother and the council." With that she stomps away so hard the ground literally shakes. I turn to my father who's still frozen in shock and nod.”Apologies for the distraction Mr Ashford please let's begin the auction. He nods smile and claps to get everyone's attention. " Alright everyone let's take our seats the auction will soon begin.” Damien and I take our seats as so does everyone else in the hall. Greta walks up to the stage.

The auctioneer starts to sweat as he asks the room, “Five hundred million! First time! Any bids? Going once!” My heart starts racing as I clutch Desmond’s arm. He smirks. “Relax. You won already.” “Going twice!” My heart is pounding a mile a minute. Goddess, please let me have this, please! “Going thrice? Anyone?” I want to turn around and face her, but I don’t. The auctioneer strikes the gavel with flourish. “It’s sold to the beautiful lady in gold for five hundred million!” The room fills with applause as I lean on Desmond in relief, feeling like I just ran a marathon.

I still couldn't shrug off the feeling when I woke up in a dark room, filled with masked men, whose eyes were moving on my body, vying for their chance to own me. I protested and fought but nothing was of use because my hands and legs were tied tightly to the chair and my pleas went to dead ears while I was being auctioned like an object. One million, two million, three million, the price of bidding are still echoing in my head and my final price was fifty million dollars. No one dare to outbid it as if the bid came from the Mafia Lord himself whom no one could defy. I didn't have any idea where they were taking me because my eyes were blindfolded until now, engulfing me in the world of dark

“Wolf King Duncan, is your mate that afraid of me? Garlic? I invited you here to talk, yet you come armed with distrust and insult.” I took a step forward, shielding April behind me. “Spare me the theatrics. You called this meeting. Get to the point.” His laughter echoed through the dimly lit room as he descended the staircase with a calculated grace. His crimson eyes locked onto mine before shifting to April. “The point, Wolf King, is her.” He motioned to April, his smile widening. “I heard you got her at an auction. I want her."

But when it came to me, she would probably never overcome the instinctive revulsion she felt. I clenched my fists tightly, so numb that I could no longer feel any physical pain. - On the day of the auction, as Rachel searched through her closet for an evening gown, she spoke in a casual tone. "Go take a proper shower first. I'm bringing you to an auction tonight. I heard there's a finale item everyone's dying to get their hands on. Pretty much everyone attending is there for that piece. We should go join the excitement too." The moment I heard her words, it felt like an electric shock ran through my body.

My sister pops her head in the room, looking to Conrad with her head cocked to the side as she asks, “Who’s beautiful?” He rolls his eyes, “You’re nosy.” She shrugs, shutting the door behind her, “And you talk loud.” “Dahlia,” I say her name to get her attention off of Conrad. She rolls her eyes and focuses on me, “Who is he talking about?” “The girl he bought me from the auction.”

The auction was nearly over, and I turned away in despair when suddenly, a voice rang out, raising an absurd amount of money. My heart stopped. It couldn’t be me, could it? “Her. I want her and her alone,” the voice demanded. I turned to see who had placed such an amount of money on my head. No one had been willing to spend more than twenty and yet someone was placing a thousand. A stench filled my nose. It was foreign but sweet like the spices my mom used to have in the kitchen. It was a combination of sweet things and it was intoxicating. It invaded my senses, my being and it made me excited.

Julia leaned down beside him and whispered something in his ear. His expression changed, and he listened so closely to what she was saying that he lowered his paddle, getting up from the chair. My heart slammed painfully against my ribs. “Vaughn?” He did not even look at me to see how desperate I was not to want him to leave me. The auctioneer laughed nervously into the microphone. “Looks like our final gentlemen are serious. Perhaps the winner may even get a kiss tonight.” Laughter spread through the crowd, but that only made my stomach tighten and bile slowly come up my throat.
