The Auction Dramione Audiobook Novels & Stories

Before Clairox could speak again, the loud voice of the Auctioneer echoed through the hall. “Gentlemen! Is there no one willing to go higher than 1.8 million?! Will the Diamond Necklace finally belong to her?!” he shouted, slamming the gavel onto the table. The crowd erupted into louder cheers and murmurs, some clearly swept away by the tension and excitement. Clairox’s heartbeat quickened. It felt like his chest would explode from anxiety. “Sh*t… what do I do now?!” he muttered to himself, unable to process the chaos brought by the woman beside him.

Chapter three Aryn The room was spinning, its bright lights shone in my eyes as I gripped the lace tightly, standing naked under the lace. The auctioneer’s voice was loud over the speakers, smooth and practiced, as if he had been doing this for years with no guilt of selling a fellow human being. “Gentlemen, feast your eyes. A fiery one, this. Hair as bright as a flame and spirit to match. She’ll fight, but isn’t that part of the fun?”

"She's mine." And that's why they never said anything. I was sold from the moment I left Mimi's house. The crowd parted as he approached the stage. Even in the harsh lights, his eyes gleamed silver-gray, fixed on me with an intensity that made my breath catch. He looked exactly like what he was – dangerous, powerful, completely in control. Don Damon Vyon. The Devil himself. And he'd just bought me. Someone hurriedly brought me a robe, their hands shaking as they helped me into it. I watched as Vyon spoke quietly with the auctioneer, money changing hands with practiced efficiency.

“Five million going once, five million going twice! Does anyone else want to claim this beauty for the night?” My head was pounding, and the sound of the auctioneer made it worse. I wanted to scream, but no sound came out. “Five million, three times…” The auctioneer finally banged the gavel, and I let out a long, tired breath. Finally, it seemed the nightmare was over, at least for the night. But just as I let out a shaky breath, thinking it was over, the auctioneer began talking over the microphone about the winner and my new master. My body had reached its limit. Dizziness hit me, and darkness crept into my vision.

“You don’t even want it.” I glance at the car. Pale blue. “It’s a hideous colour. I can imagine it clashing with everything.” “From the look on her face, she loves it.” I think about it, barely, then click my tongue. “Elara can have it then.” I drop out at eight. Elara wins at nine, smiling too wide, like she’s just survived something. Then the room shifts. The air tightens. Voices lower. “And now,” the auctioneer says, his voice lowering, weighted with ceremony, “our final lot of the evening.”

Everyone was waiting for her to continue bidding. The auctioneer was also staring at Maisie. She slowly placed her bidding paddle down, showing no intention to continue. The auctioneer raised the hammer and exclaimed, "20 billion dollars, going thrice … Sold! The Dragon Amphora goes to Ms. Evans! Congratulations, Ms. Evans!" Judy bit her tightly held lips, sensing a taste of blood in her mouth. She took two steps back and fell back into her seat. She was stiffened and unable to even blink her eyes. Maisie sneered.

"Twenty million from the gentleman in the third row. Do I hear twenty-five?" I looked up then. I let the glasses slip just an inch down my nose, my eyes locking onto Davina’s. I didn't smile. I didn't nod. But I let her see the monster. I let her see the man who would burn the ocean to ash to get her back. Davina’s breath hitched. A single tear broke through her makeup, carving a path down her cheek. She knew. "Twenty million once," the auctioneer called, his hammer poised. "Twenty million twice..."

He looked around the room with a smug grin, and Anna squeezed his arm, looking triumphantly at me. The room went quiet. A hundred thousand for a watch was an ego play, and everyone knew it. Diane looked like she was finally breathing again, her eyes fixed on me with a gloating spark. "One hundred thousand going once," the auctioneer called. "Going twice—" "Five hundred thousand." The voice didn't come from a shout. It was Lyon. He didn't even raise his hand; he just spoke the number into the silence, his tone bored, as if he were ordering a drink.

Cassandra’s POV “Are you fucking kidding me?” Stella spat out. Her face contorted into a look of seething rage. I didn’t blame her. I was really pissed off too. “Jordyn’s bidding against you?” “This is ridiculous,” Dillon exclaimed, shaking his head. “He just really won’t leave you alone.” The auctioneer gave the going once, going twice warning, so I lifted my paddle again. “Sixteen thousand,” I said loudly.

Chapter 5. Escape Jade’s POV “Nine hundred million one... Nine hundred million two... Nine hundred million three.” The man on the podium counted. With a bang of a hammer, “Sold for Nine Hundred Million.” He completed the auction. “Today’s auction is complete. Please collect your orders from the back of the stage after making your respective payments. See you guys next week at the same time. Thank you so much.” I was dragged by a bald man. He was way too built for his height. He ended up under my ear, but his grip was tight. He made me hiss at his touch as he winked.
