Novel & Cerita The Auction Dramione Audiobook

"You sure that's all?" Before Sienna could answer, the lights dimmed. The auctioneer stepped onto the stage. An older man with a British accent and a practiced smile. "Welcome, ladies and gentlemen." The auction began. A painting sold for three hundred thousand. Applause. Gasps at the number. Then an antique clock. A sculpture. First edition books. Sienna tried to focus. But she could feel him beside her. Could feel his presence like heat. Like smoke. Suffocating. Her throat felt tight. The dress too small. Everything closing in.

“She’s learning.” I wanted to lunge at her, rip her throat out, tear her limb from limb—but my body was limp, drugged, tortured. The auctioneer raised his arms dramatically. “LET THE BIDDING BEGIN!” A roar erupted from the crowd. “Twenty gold!” “Forty!” “I’ll pay fifty-five!” “You? You’re too old! Sixty!” “That’s MY breeder, bastard!” Several drunk men stumbled to their feet, waving coins, pushing each other, shouting insults. Two even shoved so hard they toppled into the benches, drawing loud laughter from the audience.

She's talking about selling myself so easily. "Blue Club," She muttered the word softly. "What's about it?" I snorted again. She's full of darkness I could tell. "There's going to be an auction tonight." She said. "Tonight?" My heart began to drum in my ears. Am I ready? I won't ever be ready for such things. I'm shy. And auction! It frightens me. What if an old man bid on me? Ew! That's gross. "Yes, you have to grab it or let it go. And your everything, too." Truth hits hard. Dread jumped out from the back window of my head.

the voice boomed through the hall, "tonight we have a very special item up for bid… a beautiful, young woman, ripe for the taking." I felt a surge of nausea as the crowd erupted in a chorus of shouts and whistles. An auction! Disgusting, really disgusting... I just want to leave here... I'm so confused right now, I want to meet my mates for an explanation, I just want to meet them, and maybe there was some kind of misunderstanding. Maybe one of those devilish family members succeeded in casting a spell over them. They would never do what they did in their senses... They would never hit me or threaten our kids.

"Miles put her first night up for auction. There's no way she's a virgin, or he would've never done that." "It isn't like that!" I said as hot tears rushed out. My best friend, Ellie Klein, shot those private photos for me, and I sent them only to Miles. Kurt's grin thinned, and he reached for me. Just then, laughter drifted in from the doorway. "Well, well, well. How could I possibly miss Miles' big day?" It was Chloe's voice. She swept in, took in the circle of men around me, and lifted a brow.

I looked back at the door where we just came in and noticed two men standing by it with their eyes fixed on me. "Aren't you coming?" Sophia spun around with a cunning smile. I clenched my fist in defeat, dragging my feet on the ground. I followed her to the stage, and she locked me in the cell with a wide grin on her face before standing on the sidelines. "Let the Auction begin!" the man at the stage shouted. "Looks like today we have an outstanding beauty —one like no other. This will be quite the bid. I am getting excited already." "Five hundred and fifty thousand dollars!" A man shouted among the crowd.

My gaze flickered toward the stage, then back to Eli, who was watching the auction with an unsettling calm. “Gray, I can see you from here,” Cain's voice came through. “I know what you’re thinking, don't even try making a move by yourself. Stick to the plan and don't put all our hardwork in the trash. The team’s ready to move the second the bomb goes off.” Stick to the plan. The words echoed in my mind, but they did nothing to ease the ache in my chest. The auction pressed on. Lot 46—a girl with dark brown hair and a timid smile—was sold for a staggering fifteen million dollars.

I did not want to hurt his feelings. "I am a trader of many things, Ms. Pamela but no, I do not dabble in human transaction, too much...how do you say it, emotional baggage," He said. Artem moved closer to Dwayne and whispered into his ear. Dwayne nodded and shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips and it got me curious. "The auction is about to start," Dwayne announced and turned back to the way we came. Even Pierre followed us. I was not interested in going back there as the woman I had met earlier was still on my mind.

I muttered to myself as the entire room was so noisy and my ears hurt as a result of it. I heard a voice ring out, "This is the next item up for auction. A beautiful young woman, in the prime of her life. Who will make the first bid?” My heart started pounding in my chest as I couldn't believe what was happening. I was up for sale? I struggled to free myself and I heard the auctioneer's voice ring out again. "This young woman is a valuable commodity. She's beautiful, intelligent, and healthy. She would make an excellent addition to any household. I'm starting the bidding at $500,000. Who will make the first bid?”

Once I settled down beside her, I immediately started looking around for Damien. Like a magnetic pull, our eyes found each other barely a few seconds later. I paused when he winked at me but looked away as a man in a dark suit took over the microphone, an indication that the auction was about to start. The bidding starts at the lower price and everyone immediately joins in to start bidding. I had no money and frankly no interest so, I was content with watching my mate, who seemed so interested in the auction however.
