I sniffled, trying to hold back tears. The pain was starting to catch up with me, but I refused to show weakness. "Do we have a deal?" I asked, hearing him swallow. A softly spoken word broke from his lips after a while. "Deal."

Tony's hand rested on my shoulder and I subtly brushed it off. “I want you to give your best for her, now what are we starting with?” Hands shot up, prices ringing from every corner of the room. “One hundred dollars.” “Two hundred!” “Three hundred dollars!” I gritted my teeth, stopping an eye-roll and forcing a smile as the bids climbed. “Come on gentlemen, is this the best you can do for my fine lady?” Tony was obviously enjoying this. He loves making a profit off of me. “Give me your best shot.” He charges the crowd.

I got to make money and money I will make” he shrugged then crossed his legs on top of his table. I suddenly felt the need to leave and head home so I can cry my eyes out. He’s being unfair to me but I don’t have that strength to fight him or argue.

Namning, who had been paying attention to the fierce bargaining, was impatient and finally came out from behind the cashier's counter. "Madam, if you find a blouse like this at a price even ten percent below our shop price, then I will pay for it for you. How about it?" said Namning with a forced friendly smile. Sarena smiled inwardly. Namning is not a fierce or angry person, but she is very firm towards people who are too talkative. Too much bargaining or too cheap. I called the jewelry store I always go to and set up a time to pick out a stylish necklace. However, guess who I bumped into in the VIP room? Ella.
