The Bathroom Ghost Novels & Stories

No matter who my sister calls to fix it, the stupid thing refuses to work. Which means that every time I walk through that corridor at night, I have to do it in complete darkness unless I bring my phone, which I often forget. It’s the perfect setting for a horror movie. I’m convinced there’s a ghost living in that hallway. Some angry little spirit that watches me whenever I pass by. I can almost feel it glaring at me now. Behind me, the bathroom window stands open to let the steam escape. Cool night air drifts inside, brushing over my skin. The soft baby-blue towel wrapped around my body feels warm and comforting as I run my fingers slowly through my damp hair while studying myself in the mi

I wanted to wake her up, but she was snoring loudly and I couldn't stop her. I swallowed hard and continued to the toilet, but immediately I got in, the door closed shut. I rushed to it and tried opening it, but it was a failed attempt, just like earlier when I met that ghost in Lucian's bathroom. I shivered and wanted to call for help, but a hand started to touch me. My dress ripped off before me, and I gasped. 'I guess it's the Yapper,' Rina cried. "Leave me alone!" I cried immediately after I heard Rina's warning. His hand spun me around and sat me on the toilet bowl.

-Hello," someone spoke. It was a slow voice, full of whispers. It was more of a whisper. -Who are you? -I went deeper. In the curtains of the bathroom, in the bathtub, there was a black shadow. So I guessed that's where the creepy thing was. When the woman's fingers grabbed the curtain and began to pull it back, my skin crawled all over. Her hand was completely rotten and her nails were broken and long. I stepped back because the truth was already scaring me. -What are you looking for here? -I asked in a whisper. -I want... a soul.

“You deserve to hear it! And for goodness’ sake, can you please take a shower? You smell like—” “Fine!” Hara interrupted, her patience wearing thin. Pushing the blanket aside, she grabbed a towel from the hook on the door and trudged into the bathroom, closing the door firmly behind her. The bathroom was a quaint space with vintage tiles, their faded patterns adding a touch of old-world charm. The rhythmic sound of water hitting the tiles created a soothing backdrop. Hara closed her eyes and let the warm water cascade down her body. Suddenly, a vision flashed in her mind, sending shivers of shock through her. She snapped her eyes open, scanning the bathroom with increasing panic.

Celeste wiped the sweat from her forehead, smirking over at Xavier. "Did I do better?" "Yes...yes...you did, now get off the training grounds Celeste, it's getting late." "But I'm not done yet." "Come Celeste." "No, I'll just stay a minute longer before showering and going to bed." "Haven't you heard?" Xavier asked, stepping closer to her to whisper..."There's a ghost in the bathroom." "W-What?"

In the moonlight, a woman in a white lace dress was kneeling on the stone steps of the chapel, her face buried in her hands, her shoulders trembling. She had no feet. Below her dress, there was only a swirling black mist. "I see her." Lorenzo let out a low whistle. "Two years ago, Marco put her in the ground right there. Her ashes are buried under the rose bushes behind the chapel." I didn't stop, walking straight toward the chapel. Giovanni froze behind me but didn't dare to call out. As I reached the bottom of the steps, the female ghost's head snapped up. She lunged at me, her face a sickly pale green, her eye sockets empty black pits.

I reached out and pressed the radio button on the steering wheel. My voice was cold, cutting through the static. "Mason Vale, do you see a ghost in your mirror?" I said coldly into the radio. Those words pierced straight through Mason's last line of composure. His car hesitated for an obvious instant on the straight. Now. I smashed the throttle down. The car tore through the air and pulled alongside him. Ahead was a chain of fast S-curves. Seeing that I was about to pass, a vicious look flashed through Mason's eyes.

“Down there.” I nodded, thanked her and rushed off. The bathroom was sleek and modern, all white marble and gold fixtures everywhere. A long row of stalls stretched to the end, where a large mirror hung over the sinks. The bathroom was empty except for one woman. She stood near the door, dressed in a simple black lace dress with sunglasses perched on her nose. I barely glanced at her as I hurried to the sink, gripping the edge. My stomach lurched and my mouth turned bitter, and before I could stop it, I threw up.

She checked both sides of the bed to be sure he didn't fall off. All of a sudden, their was a crack in the door that leads to the bathroom. Her heart skipped in fear. Is anyone inside the bathroom? When everything quieted down again, she wondered, or could it be that he was taken away from here after the disaster that befell the Wigglesworth's clan yesterday? The door of the bathroom suddenly opened again and her heart almost flew off her mouth, she adjusted back in fear as she had her eyes glued on the bathroom. "Is anyone in there?" Her voice was loud. Who could be in Ragnar's bathroom? Was it the butler?

I looked at the night gown on the bed. I walked towards it and picked it up, feeling the soft texture. I looked at the CCTV. It is right at the end of the ceiling opposite the bed. I lowered my gaze on the gown, staring at it. I picked up courage and headed towards the bathroom with the gown in my hand. Getting into the bathroom, the luxury almost made my jaw drop. No CCTV, just shiny and white spotless things. A bathtub, a shower stand, a toilet, and white towels hung on a steel hanger.
