Athens Deep beneath the ruins of the Acropolis, the air still quivered from where the Chimera had torn free. Archaeologists and soldiers at the excavation site scrambled in panic, watching the fissure collapse in on itself. Dr. Voss’s contacts in Greek intelligence exchanged hurried phone calls. The Labyrinth had given up its darkest secret. The beast was no longer contained. A Living Room in London

In the heart of the labyrinth was a massive structur

That they had truly won. Alex let out a heavy breath, his grip on Evelyn tightening as he looked over the battlefield where once stood an unstoppable force, now there was only emptiness. It was over. At least, this battle was…A greater war still awaited them. Whereas on Alex’s pack land, the battlefield was a war zone of chaos and desperation. She’d thought it funny that he insisted on such protection when nothing could hurt him anymore but knew firsthand that old habits often die hard, miserable deaths. “Your Majesties,” Titus said, dropping his head and bowing as they approached. “I hope our work is to your liking.” Asteria looked around and then smiled at the stubby bald man who possibly came up to her chin in his usual form when he wasn’t stretching to become taller. “It’s lovely,” she assured him, though she had no idea what she was looking at. The rooms down here had been used to restrain new patients back in the day when this was the Larundel Asylum. It looked like they were undergoing extensive repairs right now, but she h

Unfortunately they had no idea what was going on and a well-meaning rescue operation turned into a global catastrophe. The proles first killed their rescuers and then escaped from the research facility to bring a plague of unprecedented proportions to the world. When a hand came to rest on my shoulder and slowly brushed the back of my neck, I tried to ignore the tingling sensation. "You can leave that nice. I'm still mad at you. "

The Enigmatic Warrior

Yara was unaware of her racing and her encounter with Abraham. "Minahil please let me in or come outside. I'm sorry." She pleaded once again. "I don't want to talk right now, Yara. Please leave me alone." "What's going on?" It was Kabir. Before Yara could reply, Minahil screeched from the inside. "Keep this dickhead ten miles away from my camp." Yara looked at Kabir with wonder and asked what was the matter. "Eh... Actually!" Kabir started rambling. "I challenged her to a race, but didn't participate in it myself and then- her rival stepped in and things happened between them." He scratched the back of his head.

“ Thays what I thought. Now pay attention so I can explain to you what you can expect in my labyrinth. First of all, the labyrinth is designed to test you in every way possible. In there, you’ll be face to face with your worst fears, creatures you’ve been taught to fear as children. And of course, it is pretty easy to get lost. I swallowed and licked the crumbs from my lips, all while looking down at Luezza with clear disdain. She sagged down into the chair, still clutching her mug in a limp grasp. “The Sable Stalker Pack. The Bloodpelt Prowler Pack.” “The Sable Stalker Pack?” My eyebrows shot up. Ares had just told me that they had bowed to his might. Although… That was what he believed. That Hans and Hanna had emerged victorious on his behalf. What if what he believed wasn’t the truth? Luezza sighed. “Get me another cup of tea.” She nodded down to her mug, which I hadn’t realised was empty. “And I’ll tell you what really happened in that battle.”

This story was absolutely amazing! So many emotions. I do have a question, will there be a continued story about nazte and cen? I just feel like they should have a story about starting over/forgiveness.

This book had me on the verge of anger, laughter, intrigue, sadness and long last releasing a breath of relief and joy. Beautifully woven into this wonderful story was a great understanding of human behavior through a myriad of emotions that kept me reading on until the end.

The Dragons of Edon

The Dragons of Edon

More than one included the Guardians Nayara and Ghaeron, overseeing an official function or flaming enemies in battle. As the two of them passed through the main gallery of the Hall on their way to the First Commander’s office, he noted a particularly large tapestry that filled most of one wall. It represented the great battle, ages ago, between the Black Knights, Minotaurs, and Na’Himara against the enormous form of the mad Dragon Neyalha. Gheyaral hovered above his rampaging mate as they forced her toward the mystical vortex. Randey had seen it once before, when his father had brought him here, but he had been too young to truly appreciate it. It was beautiful and frightening all at once.
