I hit the floor and felt something hurt my back. When I looked closely, I realized I was inside a damn pit full of people's bones. I was terrified, then part of the ceiling fell and I could see what was happening above. Elijah was enraged and using his darkness to subdue the beast, pulling it fiercely, and the three heads were writhing violently. That made me realize how powerful he really was. The beast growled with its heads up, breaking the shadows Elijah was using to subdue them and approaching him with the intent to kill him. That paralyzed me, so I tried to climb out of the damn pit, but it was really difficult. Alondra growled loudly.

“You have to finish it! It’s feeding off the bond between you and him!” Her heart clenched. She turned to Kalen. His smirk had returned, but his eyes betrayed something—fear? Or was it excitement? “You knew this was coming,” she whispered. “Of course,” Kalen murmured. “It’s the only way to free what’s inside you. Kill it… or let it consume you.” Joel’s pained howl jolted her back. The beast slammed him into a wall, stone shattering. He slumped to the ground, blood matting his fur.

She couldn't believe that she was thinking like this about her friend! But then again she could. She remembered being cradled in his arms half in and out of consciousness and some man had called him Beast. He'd said "Beast take care of her", or something in that vein. Let's see if your weakling whore will bear it in her conscience." The monster howls in victory. At this point, Deep has no option than to surrender. He drops his gun to the floor, and the monster discharges a triumphant loud annoying howl. "Good, boy!" He mocks, turning to me, but keeping an eye on Deep still. "Now come to me, baby!" Ho orders me in his monster-soothing tone. He has turned into a complete varmint.

Carson said, smiling, and looked at Susannah who had helped him from getting his heart pulled out. "Something is wrong". Susannah said, walking close to the beast. "What's it, Susannah?". Patricia asked, holding her gun firm. "I think the beast is actually trying to play another trick. It is just too easy to defeat the beast just like that". Susannah and every one of them stared at the lifeless body of the beast and immediately, the body turned to dust and vanished. "Wow, what just happened?". Eddie asked, walking close to the spot.

“It’s not enough. It’ll never be enough.” The rogue let out a final, guttural roar as Damian’s blade found its mark, driving deep into its side. Elijah followed with a crushing blow, his claws rending through the beast’s throat. It collapsed, its massive form heaving with labored breaths. But as its glowing eyes dimmed, it looked at Annabel one last time. “You’ll see,” it rasped, its voice fading. “You’ll see what you really are.” The rogue’s body went still, its lifeless form sprawled across the ground.

It gives him a few seconds before the hounds decide attacking is their best move. They might have gained some newfound intelligence, but Beast is smart and has had years of practice. Our eyes carry bloodlust, our bodies made for killing. Beast's claws rake a wide path across one throat and chest. It's not a killing blow, but the hound lists to the side and the other jumps around him. It's almost like he's protecting the hurt creature. Beast lets out a growl that rumbles clear to our feet and charges head-on. We clash and the hound goes to the ground with Beast on top. We grab his neck within our crushing jaws and crunch bone. The other hound lands on top of us, his snapping jaws taking a bit

Fuck. “You much be mistaken,” I tell him. “No,” he says, “I know what I saw.” Unfortunate. “I see. And what are you going to do with that knowledge” “Tell Prince Lucien of course, he'll be excited to know his test subject is more special than he thinks” Oh, he would. “After watching this show of course” he points to the elders finishing off the Beast. I see the mate bond between him and the Beast slowly fade, and then she dies.

Death is embracing me in its darkness, this is the final moment. Where one side is the cliff, the other side is this two-headed hybrid beast ready to feast in my flesh. I do have regrets for not being strong enough to complete the task I took on. With this final thought running through my mind I tightly shut my eyes when seeing the beast is about to attack me...
