It was the holiday season. So, I took my foster daughter, Megan Delgado, to the mansion in Syleria Bay to relax and unwind. From a distance, I could already see that the mansion was brightly lit. A woman yanked the door open with an impatient look on her face. “Who are you? You’re interrupting my daughter’s birthday party. Are you asking for trouble?” She seemed so sure of herself, so I thought I must have pulled up to the wrong house in the dark.

I muttered to myself. I reached for my phone on the nightstand, needing a distraction before I lose my mind. Funny how him ignoring me ruined my mood. A notification popped up on my phone. “BONFIRE GAMES PARTY TONIGHT — Hosted by Blackwell Enterprises.” I blinked. A party? Here? Oh. Oh this was going to be interesting. I wouldn't want to stay here all day with Mad Boy, so I guess this will be really fun. I'll meet new people and play some games.

Nate smiled, reassuring you. Nate pulls you close, it feels nice to be back together. He loops his fingers in yours and heads back into the Livingroom with you. Blake walks off without so much of a word. Nate doesn't pay attention to him. he turns to you. “I have something planned for you at the pool party.” Nate blushed. “I can’t wait.” You grinned. Did someone say pool party? The day of the pool party has arrived; you get ready and head out to Nate's with him. You arrive to be greeted by Mac and Nate's mom, who doesn't seem overly fond of you being there.

"But do we have to go? Can't we just, like, go to the movies, or stay home and chill and watch n*****x or something?" Roxy stopped dead, forcing me to stop with her. She looked at me with mock horror. "Hell, no, we are not 'staying home, n*****x and chilling'! We are going to that party. We are going to shake our asses, and we are going to have fun. So don't you worry about 'the plastics'." She air-quoted the word with a flourish. "Remember? Football game and then party." Roxy gave my arm a reassuring squeeze. "It'll be fine. I've got your back." With that, she gave me a quick hug and then took off down the hall, calling over her shoulder, "See you tomorrow!"

“I have no idea. Who knows around here. Did you get my things from Uncle Roman?” “I did. I’m ready if you’re ready.” When we get to the packhouse, the entire pack is buzzing about Benedict’s party tomorrow. They’re calling it The Party of the Century. Exaggerate much? Since I couldn’t care less, I put my things in my room, then spend the evening with Grandpa Waylon going over the pack’s information.

She pulled the door open and looked back at me. "Come on.” The party was in one of the off-campus houses three blocks east. It was a kind of tall, narrow building that seemed to hold twice as many people as its dimensions suggested, something that looked small on the outside but way bigger on the inside, like a clown car. The music was pushing through the walls before you even reached the front steps and warm light showered through every window while the low roar of a crowd found its volume.

The pack house bustled with activity. Laughter and the rhythmic thrum of music spilled through the open doors, beckoning everyone in. Tonight was Logan's annual summer solstice party, a chance for the pack to unwind, celebrate, and maybe even find a little romance under the full moon.

--Cassie-- The party was in full swing at the back of the house, a vibrant display of joy and energy. The yard had been transformed into a child’s paradise, complete with a trampoline, inflatable slides, and various games scattered around. Despite still not feeling like I was good enough to be next to an Alpha. It smelled amazing and I wished we could skip the Luna Ceremony to party instead. Apparently, Cesar excelled at grilling meat and took over the huge grills they set up in the cul-de-sac. We were going to have the block party after the ceremony.
