The Blue Lightning Novels & Stories

This light wasn’t a visitor, it was a resident, born from the depths, undeniable. The storm intensified. Thunder cracked, closer now, shaking the old windowpanes. Lightning flashed, illuminating the studio in stark, blinding bursts, freezing the image of the glowing gold spreading across the blue, freezing me bent over the sacred table. Then, with a fizzle and a pop, the power died. Darkness plunged into the studio, thick and absolute, broken only by the erratic strobe of lightning and the angry blue glow of my phone screen where it lay charging.

(Mira, at least look at me! She grabbed her arm and saw a blue handprint on her neck. "Mira?" She looked at it shocked. "It's turning blue..." Mira chuckled. "You are realising now, how strongly did he choke me?" Maya quickly grabbed the ointment from the drawer and started applying it on her neck. Mira protested but Maya didn't let her win.

I learned how to fight, lead, and conduct myself with the dignity of a future Luna while the other kids played unrestrictedly. I was standing in front of my bedroom mirror now, fifteen years later, brushing down the ceremonial garment that hung over me like water. With every movement, the silk glistened in the candlelight. My blue hair fell beyond my shoulders, representing everything I was destined to be rather than being the object of youthful awe.

Bloodshed was there as as far as the periferal vision could go. And the only colour which could describe it was red. Just like the colour of the eyes of the one who caused all this. Connecting this hell and the heaven above was a light. An electric blue colour light which had the brightness to make you colourblind for a second and decibels which could hurt you ears . This was the lightning of thunder. And the eye of this storm was standing there inside a circle of her friends and foes. With hands tied in silver chain above her head on a pole.

other people riding it. Kazumi stared at it with wide eyes, he could not believe himself that he was the next to ride it. His face became pale and he started feeling dizzy as if the world was spinning like a spinning top. Ren noticed this and asked him," Are you okay Kazu? He grabbed Kazumi's hand and dragged him towards the exit but he suddenly felt some opposite force, as of Kazumi himself don't want to go. He turned towards Kazumi and noticed Shaun, holding Kazumi's wrist.
