They didn't stop though, they kept riding hard on their horses away from the fortress. Just before they got to the Blade lake river, they heard the howl once more and a big black wolf leaped out of the woods, the wolf ripped off the head of one of the guards and disappeared into the woods again- leaving the guard headless on the floor with his horse running off into the dark. I carefully pick it up to return it to the bookshelf when I notice a paper fall out of the book. I place the book down and pick up what is a picture of a blood red wolf. There is nothing written on the picture so I don’t know who the she-wolf is. Now I know why they call the she wolf a blood red wolf. The main coat color is the color of blood with black socks and a patch of black on it’s chest. It’s actually quite beautiful. “If our mate is the blood red wolf she is going to be so beautiful,” says Spartan.

A resounding growl echoed around the house and before I could blink, a black, large wolf with white furs at the crown of his head walked out of the room. I held on to Hera as the wolf stared down at the both of us. "Fuck off, Liam" Hera yelled. "It's a fucking command, Prince" The wolf turned abruptly and ran off. I almost dropped to the floor because my legs had turned jelly.

In short, it was beautiful. "Wow... his wolf is so beautiful..." I mumbled lost in his beauty. His wolf was pure black whereas my wolf was white with shades of grey and blue eyes. He paused, his eyes scanning my face for any sign of understanding. “I couldn't help but laugh, I guess either I'm hearing things or I'm not the only crazy one in the room.” Zayn stepped closer, his movements deliberate and careful, as if I might bolt at any moment. “You’re a wolf,” he said, his voice steady. “You always have been. You just didn’t know it yet.” I burst out in laughter once again, sharp and bitter, verging on hysteria. “You’re insane. This is insane.”

I smiled back tentatively. “Lords and leaders of the North,” Varul began, and the hall quieted instantly. His deep, controlled voice carried effortlessly through the space. “We lost eight wolves at Linewatch. Two scouts survived long enough to give testimony. The attackers were larger than any wolf known to the North. Fast. Blue in color. No tracks matching known predators were recovered.” He paused as a murmur swept through the hall. I sat up straighter. Blue monsters? This world was determined to make sure I never slept peacefully again.

Maybe it’s the instructors in wolf form. Or maybe it’s… something else. “Stop,” Olivia whispers suddenly, grabbing my arm. I follow her line of sight. Across the line of trees, three wolves prowl slowly in circles. Their fur is dark, sleek, each with a glowing blue batch tied to one of their legs. Their ears flick, alert. Their steps are light but confident. Those are Blue-category wolves. They have ten points each. Olivia leans close, her voice barely a breath. “I want to ambush them. If we can get even one batch, we’re ahead.”

The Solar Eclipse Pack was a small pack that consisted of about 500 wolves and 100 of them were warriors. they were located in the rural parts of Virginia, more specific closer to Marion, Virginia. They have been fighting other packs around them for months,because they were the smallest pack of the packs around them. Those fight were more for territory over anything else. The strongest of any of the packs around them was the Blood Lust pack. All they cared about was power and territory.

My pupils glowed brighter than ever before, clear silver that reflected the light above. Strands of my hair shimmered faintly, carrying a streak of color that hadn’t been there before.
