The temperature dropped by several degrees, and the scent of old books, smoke, and a hint of something herbal—maybe sage or nettles—floated in with the swirl of magic. And then, there he was. Charlie. Tall, broad-shouldered, and wearing a cloak that was more patchwork spell-robe than fashion statement, the old warlock stood with his arms folded and a look of tired irritation—tempered with affection—on his weathered face. “You better have a damn good reason for dragging me away from my blueberry tea and birdwatching.” Tora stepped forward, arms out like she was greeting an old friend. “Charlie! You look… crustier than usual.”

The Dragon King's Obsession

The Dragon King's Obsession

said Charlotte looking at the books then noticed a rather passionate book cover . " Let's see......' The king's domineering lady butler '...........This other one seems interesting and naughty . Who would have thought that chameleon had such a wild taste ?! " said Charlotte with a sneaky smirk when she read that it was a book for adults , as she stayed on the chair by raising half of it up . " Who's the chameleon ?! " said king Damien with an annoyed tone as he looked at her . " Ha ha ha ! Of course, it is..... " said Charlotte then looked at the person up to her head then her smile froze and her face became pale .

Although I agree with another comment about some issues with grammar and spelling it really isn't that bad compared to almost all other stories I've read here and I have to say that this story really struck a cord in my heart. Such a lovely and inspiring story and I am very pleased with how it ended

Taming The Wild Alpha 2

Taming The Wild Alpha 2

“Do you know what they call those wolves who willingly let those bloodsucker vampires drink from them during sexual intercourse? They’re called blood whores. And that’s what you’re doing, you’re turning me into one of them.” That was the last straw. He launched himself at me but I was faster. With my magic, I stopped him in midair with one hand then my other hand summoned the Book of the Damned and it flipped open to the page that I needed. Reading the Latin words written there, I cast the spell that I’d used for healing charms. Yesterday, I hadn’t only noticed how he didn’t get burned from touching my 925 sterling silver charm bracelet, but I’d also learned that he’d been like his old self

Thank you for the chapters I hope they come more frequently. I just love this story and really hope they over come this disease and be happy. I believe that he just marked her this time because he may have seen her with Ero and knows that he wants her and always have.

Resurrected (Book #9 in the Vampire Journals)

Resurrected (Book #9 in the Vampire Journals)

But this was not what Caitlin wanted: she needed to heal Scarlet, not kill her. As she finished yet another book and slid it aside, with still no mention of healing anywhere, she began to feel a sense of despair. She lifted the final book on the stack, a small, leather-bound volume with a red spine, entitled De Fascino Libri Tres by Leonardo Vairo. Caitlin summoned her knowledge of Latin, and knew that translated to: Three Books of Charms, Spells and Sorceries.

But her fully-developed rear gave people the impact of visual ups and downs; her three measurements’ proportion was both exaggerated and reasonable, so that anyone who took a look at her would be involuntarily attracted by her. This hot and spicy body with a quietly elegant and cool face—these two completely different feelings combined formed a unique charm. The mature lady's lasting appeal made people feel intoxicated. --------------- We have opened a discussion post on Facebook Group about this book , and you can post anything you want to say about this story, and we will invite the original author to unpuzzle all your questions. Rejected by My Mate, Fated to the Lycan King

What they’ve guessed at and what they’ve made up to explain what they can’t see. Scarlett returns and finds me still holding the book. She arches a brow. “Should I get you a tote bag?” I shove the book under my arm and mutter, “We’re buying it.” She beams like she’s just won something. We leave with the book, two more pastries, and a pair of hand-stitched bookmarks made by a woman who insisted her cat is psychic. I don’t ask follow-up questions. Later, back at the inn, I wander past Cerelia and Soren’s room. I hear murmured spellwork and low humming.

Swayed by the Charming Alpha

Swayed by the Charming Alpha

How will she ever find the spell she needs in this abundance of books? “Similarly to how I can read your minds, these books can read mine. The book I seek shall come to me.” She closes her eyes, seemingly deep in thought. A book slowly rises, floating towards us. It gently falls into her hands, before opening itself and flipping to a specific page. Wow. ”Alright, this looks fairly simple.” She closes the book and turns to us. “Converterent Alica, averta pars amantes” ... ”Did it work?” Nope.

It would be so easy to get carried away and forget all about the books in her lap. Focus, stupid, focus. You can think about the hot guy making you dinner later. She flipped open the top book to the chapter she needed to read. Over the next hour, she pored over her books, working through the chapters and taking detailed notes. Nothing distracted her, not even the occasional noises from the kitchen. Finally it all went quiet, and she was done with her assigned readings. She tucked the books back in her bag and looked around the room. The lamps near the couch were now on, and night had taken over outside. The dining room table was set for two, and two plates of food were set out along with two

Trapped By My Stepfather Charm

Trapped By My Stepfather Charm

Alexander whispered, the corner of his lips pulling up into a slight, incredibly annoying smile. I quickly turned my face away, staring straight out the car window. The night streets, which were beginning to empty out, became my escape. I didn't dare look at his face. The charm radiating from the man was far too dangerous. I knew that if I were foolish enough to hold his gaze any longer, I would get caught and completely hypnotized by the way he looked at me. The luxury sedan began to move, gliding down the asphalt, driven smoothly and quietly by his personal chauffeur.

Charming the CEO

Ethan sat back in his leather chair, the smoke from his cigarette swirling around his head. He couldn't shake the feeling of anger towards Amelia, but the memory of their passionate encounter earlier that day still lingered in his mind. His gaze drifted over to his bookshelf, and his eyes narrowed as they landed on a particular book. It was an old, worn-out tome with a faded cover. Ethan couldn't explain why, but something about it had caught his attention. He stood up and walked over to the bookshelf, reaching for the book. He ran his fingers over the cover, feeling the rough texture of the paper. He opened it up and began to read, his eyes scanning the pages quickly.
