The Alpha's Whispering Pearl

The Alpha's Whispering Pearl

I heard dad's voice, and he came into my view through the darkness. "I thought you were a ghost." I joked. "I was going through some old books. Found the exact one I was looking for," he said, handing me over a thick book that looked around a hundred years old. "What is this?" I asked. "It's a legendary, secret book about alphas who didn't approve of Moon Goddess's selection of mates and who fell in love with another," he spoke. My eyes shifted to his, and he quickly looked aside. Then he started adding more facts as he paced around; "Moon Goddess is the goddess we believe in. Humans might not even know her, but she's our goddess. She knows the best for us, and I don't think it's a good idea

I feel your pain. I suffer from chronic migraines as well and know sometimes it is so hard to function in this world. All you can do is take it one day at a time. Taking monthly shots and daily meds to try to control them are no fun and I understand your pain. Just try to do your best, keep smiling

The Fire That Chose Me

The Fire That Chose Me

The moment Evelynn stepped through the arch with Aiden, the world shifted. The air changed, thick with the scent of pine and smoke, alive with a hum that vibrated against her skin. Light spilled from unseen sources, soft and golden, bending the shadows into shapes that seemed to move when she wasn’t looking. Her hand tightened around Aiden’s. “This place…” Her voice trembled. “It feels alive.” “It is,” he said simply, his thumb stroking her knuckles. “This is where my kind come to bind themselves — to the fire, to the earth, to the wolf. It doesn’t welcome outsiders.”

The Alpha's Forbidden Mate

The Alpha's Forbidden Mate

“That section is rarely visited. Follow me.” I trailed after her through the maze of towering shelves until we reached a dim corner where the light from the high windows barely touched the floor. She set a small stack of books on a bench, gave me a weary look, and walked away without another word. Ignoring her, I reached for the first book, careful not to hold it too tightly…it felt as though it might crumble to dust in my hands. Its pages detailed the origins of our kind, the way we came into existence The opening pages spoke of the time before wolves, when the earth was bare of our kind. It said the Moon Goddess wandered then, watching mankind tear itself apart with greed and fire.

Salvation

Salvation

The red shirt underneath feels like a deliberate choice, the vibrant color bold against the dark suit, and it reminds me of the blood that will soon be spilled, that will stain my hands before the night is over. “Welcome Mr…” he begins, stretching his hand to me. An unwise decision, I think, as I glance at his extended hand- a gesture to show trust, to form a connection. It's a pity he’s just offered his hand to The Devil, to the very man who will soon be taking his last breath. “Levi” I answer, my voice is calm, controlled, as I grasped his hand in mine. The contact is brief, but it’s enough to have his face imprinted at the back of my mind.

Genesis

Genesis

Life at Solus Institute? It could've been a good one, sure. That is, if you were born there, if the sterile, regulated halls were all you’d ever known. But for me? Yeah, that’s where it got a little iffy. My life before Solus was a real one, a good one. Heck, a great one. I had a mom, a whole crew of friends, and yeah, even love. The kind of messy, complicated, wonderful love that doesn’t always fit into neat little boxes. Solus Institute was just a fancy way of saying "orphanage for supernatural kids." A home for children who lost all family, who were just alone in the world. It’s got that official, clinical vibe, you know?

What Hell May Come

What Hell May Come

Not that Jon had anything to say to her. The day had been taken up by this seemingly fruitless search, until in the dingiest part of the store, in a crumbling red book published in 1900, he found the name. The Book of Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage was filled with weird double-talk, esoteric terms, confusing graphics, and yawn-inducing florid language, but the name was there—as was his invocation.

A Mythical World

A Mythical World

"I could've managed it by myself." "Apparently that didn't seem so when you were sleeping on the ground with a pile of snot in your face," he scoffs, checking out a huge book from my shelf. It's one of my favourites, written by one of my teacher from Okama high, 'The untold tale of Kahuna'. "Who's Ka-hu-na guy by the way?" "None of your business. Don't go around touching other people's stuff so easily!" Before I can even stop him, there he goes.

Black The Origin

Black The Origin

"Why is it expensive?" "No, it was in high demand." Alkhun looks at the book. It was almost like his first copy of it. Red cover, with the name of it. Written in bold letters. Alkhun was fascinated by the book ever since he first read it. It was the myth of the west. The myth about a tower, once hidden deep in the west. Where it is located, the structure, the system, the connection between worlds. Everything was written in detail. It was suffocating how fascinating whats that book has to offer. Like a gateway through the other dimension, that gives you goosebumps.

Their Human Mate

Their Human Mate

Ben nodded. "If what we have read is true, they will sleep for three moons. " Ben said. He slid a book across the table as we all took a seat. It was a black leather book with veins on it. The title of the book read, "Book of Alacai" in bright red. I could smell the blood from the letters. "What is this?" I asked, looking up at Ben. " I asked dad to bring it.", Jordan said, taking the book away from me.

Moonlit Shadows

I reached out and delicately traced the pattern, a jolt of familiarity coursing through me. Malachi's gaze followed my movement, curiosity evident in his eyes. "What have you found, Emma?" I opened the book, its pages crackling with the weight of forgotten wisdom. Words written in an ancient script adorned the parchment, and as I began to read, a revelation washed over me. "This... This is the Book of the Ancients," I whispered, my voice filled with a mix of awe and realization. "It holds the key to unlocking the true nature of the primordial force and the source of our own powers."
