The Book You Like Most Novels & Stories

I had so much fun writing this book, Thank you so much for reading 'Remembering Liam' If you like it please share, vote and comment. :))) You will also find my new book in my profile:)) XD Xoxo Gem

“Chill bro. It’s just… not what I was expecting ” He shrugged, flipping another page. “I keep telling you not to judge me with your assumptions.” “I'm sorry if my assumptions don't fit your personality,” I said, taking the seat across from him. “Why this book?” I asked, stealing the opportunity to know what the real Kael is like. “I like books that… make me think. And this one does.” “Think about what?” I asked, hoping my curiosity wasn't obvious. “Is this some sort of interview?” he asked, placing the book on the table without closing it.

I asked, nodding at the bookcase. “Like may not be the right word.” I smiled and dropped down into the sofa. “You are correct.” “Have you read them all?” “Parts of them. Not entire pieces. It’s—dry.” He chuckled and sat down beside me. “Who’s your favorite?” “Shakespeare,” I said, without hesitation. “Really? I didn’t expect that. Is there a hopeless romantic hiding inside of you?” I rested my cheek in my hand and shook my head. “No. I don’t think so. There’s just something about the fantasy and the prose that gets me. The splendor of it all, I guess. Does that make sense?”

He tells me. “I’ve also read books like, Stormy rage.. The blueprint.. His renewal… and many more.” He added. “That’s a lie..” I was wowed. He has similar taste in books like me. “The blueprint is literally my favorite. I’ve read it a million times.” I said excitedly. He nodded. “I can say the same..” He chuckled. “To you I hold the rod..” “And it will bend at your will..” I completed the sentence. That was a highlight in that book.

Just random things that are worth talking about and worth remembering. "Oh, don't ask about my favorite when it comes to books. I can't choose. I have so many favorites, the number is rising every time I read a new one." I chuckled. Yeah, that's how engrossed I am with every book that gets my attention. I consider my collection as my babies and they are far more important than my clothes or any material thing that I have. "You are one hell of a book-lover, then." "Is that a bad thing?"

and the phrase that passed in his head as the most stupid he could think of just came out of his mouth. Poor Domi, he tried at least, and now that comment all messed up was making them laugh. "But anyway, weren't you going to tell me a story? Have I mentioned, my favorite book ever is Dracula, so the topic fits perfectly with my taste. More so because it's a real story. I like that." "Very good then. I'll tell you about my friend's story."

It has never been my goal to impress my sister with anything I do. I scroll through the books in the library until I come to my favourite section, Mystery. I always love the thrill that comes with not knowing what's going to happen next. You can make it more interesting for yourself if you start to wonder what is happening and what will happen. I take a few glances through the books on the shelves and take a book that looks the most interesting out of all the books I saw. 'In the Woods' by Tana French.

I can’t smell coffee, so I assume it’s some herbal tea. “Yeah, mom’s been in the hospital for a while”, she says as she stands next to me and grabs a book from a shelf. “This was my favourite book growing up”, she says. It’s a classic. The little prince. I understand why. I read it once. Not my cup of tea, but I can understand why she likes it.

I nodded awkwardly, not knowing what else to say. “It's one of my favorite books to read, it's got everything you want to know about herbs in it. I would recommend for you to read but you don't seem like a big fan of books” “Nah, not this kind of book but I do love reading at times,” I said with a little laugh and then scratched the back of my head. “Uhm, you know I think I'll come back later, there's this little stuff I got to take care of”
