The white paper on the bed called out to me as I reached for it, squinting when I saw the words on it. Written on it were just two sentences. “YOUR BUNNY IS WITH ME. RETURN TO LYXANT IF YOU WANT HER ALIVE" I read the message and re-read it before I passed it to Fred, so he could check if I saw those words. “What fool took our Bunny?” I wondered aloud as I folded my arms, looking around the empty room. It was neater than the ones we passed, something that calmed my beast for a moment. “They are in LYXANT?” Fred sneered as he balled the paper and threw it on the floor. He stumped on it, acting as if the paper was the werewolf with our mate, and he was taking his revenge on it.

If the girls had shifted too, they would have heard the agonising wails of the young girl. She remained on the ground, shuddering, weeping, and screaming with agony. The girls finally left their campsite with the decision to drop the remains of the animal on Sapphire's bed. Eventually, they encountered the girl wailing on the ground.
