OWNED BY THE MAFIA DON

OWNED BY THE MAFIA DON

HAKAN *** Even though I wanted to put a knife through his eye, I couldn’t do that for the sake of the mission I was here to accomplish. The butcher was a man in his early fifties, with a stocky build, a double chin and a pot belly bigger than a pregnant woman who was due for birth. He was also almost completely bald, and his once blonde hair had become nearly white. With his blue eyes, he might have been considered handsome in his youth because he was a stereotypical blonde that women seemed to be obsessed with for some reason, but the more power he acquired, the more influence he got from his business, the more lazy he got physically. He had lots of guards and he was confident of his useful

Shadows of Silk & Steel: A Billionaire's Secret, A Bodyguar

Shadows of Silk & Steel: A Billionaire's Secret, A Bodyguar

His eyes, small and dark, swept the room and landed on Sabatine. Recognition, immediate and venomous, dawned on his face. “Stalker,” the guard grunted, the word a curse. He took an involuntary step forward, held back by an officer’s arm. “Der Metzger von Belgrad.” The Butcher of Belgrade. The words, in guttural German, landed like a grenade in the fragile calm. The police tensed, their weapons shifting minutely. The nickname from shadowy intelligence briefings and underworld lore now had a face, here, in a billionaire’s shot-up villa.

The Dark Below

The Dark Below

Once it's all gone, Butcher lets out a sigh of relief and stabs the cleaver back into its home. oth Norvin and Catarina step into the tent, on the opposite side of the Butcher. Norvin rests his hand upon his nose and lingers his eyes on the dead carcass on the table. With his other hand, he waves his hand in the air like he is trying to combat the fumes themselves against the might of his smell. “Damn Butch, got a fresh one there have you?” The taller and more cut elf leers a gaze upon him and with his right hand, he dangles his fingers across the right side of his armor. Those digits of his sling around the course metal and he wipes some of the blood that stains it away from his metal-coate

Berserker

Berserker

The outcome had been Killian's death, Brand's banishment, and quite a few new members to Brodi's pack as he had taken in the last of Killian's abused members. "It wasn't simply some humans camping illegally outside the designated campgrounds?" Brodi asked. This happened occasionally but most people knew better than to trek so far off the beaten path with a known wolf pack in the area. Gunnar shook his head. "No, there was no sign of campers. Ivan, however, caught a strange scent in the air. I did not smell it myself as I had gone on to check the caves. He barely caught it, but it grabbed his attention because it was so wrong for the woods. He said it smelled of brine and leather."

Rise of the Bloodstone King

Rise of the Bloodstone King

Silas barked a laugh, his face tilting up towards the sky. "You can never be too prepared, Son. Besides, I don't want to become like Clive, beer gut and that grey look about him. It's unsettling." I grimaced at the thought of the elf. He worked at a butcher shop in the village. How he got such great kills, I would never know, but I guess judging a book by its cover wasn't the best way to know someone. But to be fair, the stories about Elvin didn't help his cause; he was a brutish pig who scammed more fae out of money than most. But he did so within the laws making him untouchable. "So, what's really got you bothered, Erik? Ever since Damon's coronation, you have been somewhere else." I press

I’ve read the first three again and am reading dark promises again and the author has been working to this point from book one. Strongly recommend reading them all directly after each other so you can really see how brilliantly it is put together. Will read this in one go once completed

The fifth and final book of the Bloodstone series had a lot to over come and so far it has gone beyond what I expected. This author is truly amazing, there were so many things I didn’t realize were tied into this book and I love seeing all the pieces coming together. Can’t wait to see how it ends!

CHILDREN OF GODS

CHILDREN OF GODS

“Then all of a sudden these weird howls woke me up. Some part of me knew it wasn’t a normal animal, so I made Tres and his family get into the truck while I fought the Hellhounds.” Blakeney had his fingers pressed together in a steeple and Arthur was tapping a finger to his beak-like nose. “And you killed them how?” the Archivist sought out. “One of them I stabbed in the heart. The second, I split its underside open and the last one—the alpha and largest—I ended up severing the head. None of the other wounds seemed to bother them much. In fact, they kinda healed up pretty fast.” The men nodded thoughtfully in unison.

The Butcher's Bride

The Butcher's Bride

The city blurred, and all I could see was his face. Leon Vitali was everything I was told he’d be,cold, cruel, calculated. Sexy. But he was also… watchful. Clever. Controlled in a way that scared me more than rage ever could. Because a man like him didn’t waste movement. Didn’t waste bullets. Didn’t waste women. If I wasn’t careful, I wouldn’t marry the Butcher. I’d become one of his victims.

Total Surrender

Around him were four other men,all smiling, all filthy, their faces hard and cruel as if the devil himself was taking the picture. But not Richard. Richard did not smile. He just starred soullessly into the camera. "That," Eleanor said, "is not your professor. That man's name is Viktor Petrovich, the Butcher of Bratva." Pamela blinked. "What's... Bratva." "The Russian Mafia. But not the kind you see in movies. The real ones. Blood-boind, sadistic, cult-like in loyalty. And Viktor?" She smirked bitterly. "He was the Bratva's most efficient killing machine."

My Brothers' Regret After My Death

My Brothers' Regret After My Death

Lorenzo lunged, ignoring a slash to his shoulder as he buried the knife deep into the butcher's thigh. "This one is for her tongue." He ripped the blade out and drove it straight into the butcher's throat. The man who had laughed while hurting me now clutched his neck, making a wet, gurgling sound as he bled out on the floor. The Ivanov Don raised his piece and fired several rounds into Lorenzo’s chest. Lorenzo’s body jerked, but he didn't fall. With his final ounce of strength, he threw himself forward, driving the same knife that had pierced my heart into the Russian’s chest.

‘I am – I am – I am not lying. The brothers watched, bewildered by the inspector’s sudden change of demeanour. Jyoti’s face had turned white with fear. She started sobbing. Immediately, as if someone had opened the tap to a reservoir. The inspector settled back in his chair, his eyes glowing red with anger. ‘Do not play the farce of the wrongly accused. I have done my research before coming here. The flat belonged to Mr R Satish, the famous Telugu singer. He has a summer house here in Palampur and you were a live-in
