one of them whispers. “I heard she got a perfect score.” “She’s from the Brimstone Pack. Alpha Caldwell’s daughter.” The attention makes my skin prickle with both happiness and embarrassment. It's already clear that I’m not anonymous here. I’m Daisy Caldwell, Champion of the Warrior Competition. The girl who defied many odds and emerged victorious. Being such a person feels surreal and I'm already getting attention. I just hope no one bothers me about it.

He had a look of anger on his face and for some reason I could already tell that he was the alpha of Kill bird. "Mind your tongue alpha Smith. That is no way to talk to a champion in this tournament." Kaidon warned. "The only reason why you are defending high is because we all know that she is your luna." Yeah whispers and memory around the hall as everyone talked to each other. I looked around and notice the remaining champions were all staring at me song with sheer curiosity and others with envy written all over their face. "He is right. Mind the way you talk to my champion or I would have you punished."

Was there ever any doubt? “Ladies and gentlemen, what an incredible display of quick thinking, careful planning, skill, and ingenuity. Is it any wonder our Blackheart has been a three-time champion? Give it up for Blackheart as she makes an impressive move to the top of the scoreboard!” Hexton cheers from his podium.

No more running. "Thank you." Cara said and turned back to herself. Only to realize that she really was standing there all alone. She was literally now talking to herself. She immediately looked back at the message board and to the mirror. There once again was her face reflecting back at her. Smiling at her reflection she turned and walked back down the sidewalk, back the way she had come. Thinking about the conversation she had just had with her own reflection she couldn't help but laugh at herself. The mind is a funny thing after all. As she walked on she couldn't help but glance down at her imaginary right leg. She wondered if this is what it would always be like? Would she always have it

An event that is held only once every two years. The time where you can witness a spectacle of wonder that may only exist in your dreams. Silver light washed over every corner of the hall, illuminating the awestruck faces of every leader. "Everyone," my voice carried clearly to each of them. "The old era is over." Marcus, the Northern leader, was the first to drop to one knee. "All hail the new Chairman!" Elena of the East followed immediately. "I pledge my loyalty to you, My Lady!" One by one, all the pack leaders knelt. A roar echoed through the great hall. "All hail the Chairman!" "All hail the Chairman!" I raised the scepter, and the hall fell silent.

"I've done nothing wrong. I agree to call off the engagement." Mark froze, completely taken aback. Then, a robotic voice echoed in my head, ‘The Thought Sharing feature has now been activated. Please choose who you want to share it with.’ Thought Sharing? The person I picked could hear Alice's thoughts, too? I looked at Mark, still in shock, and calmly touched my face. ‘I choose Mark.’ Right then, Alice's inner voice rang out again, just in time. 'Can you believe it? With just a little trick, Helen has given up on Mark all by herself?'

May the strongest win," the announcer says, and the crowd explodes with excitement.

I even invited all our close friends and family to the venue so they could witness the moment together. But as he stood under the spotlight, he looked right past me and his gaze landed on his younger teammate, Lexi, who was smiling brightly and clapping for him nearby. A reporter pushed through the crowd with a microphone and asked on the spot if h
