I spat sweetly, “You’d like that, wouldn’t you? If someone were half as insane as you were. Want to know something? Only someone insane would kidnap someone’s childhood friend to use them as a pawn in a sick game!”
The Game Master paused for a moment, and then erupted in thick, deep laugher. It ricochets off the minimalistic furniture in the room. It glided down the onyx chaise lounge and bounced over the little coffee table. I drowned in that laugh for a moment, one of melted chocolate and whispered promises.
