The Complete Grimm's Fairy Tales Novels & Stories

Simple drawings with German captions. A story about a boy, a fairy tale, it seemed, who’d wandered into the woods and stumbled upon an old shack where he met a hag—of course—who’d taken him in. Given him food, drink, a cot to sleep on, and . . . She thumbed through the pocket-sized Hansel minus Gretel, flipping to the end only to find ripped and missing pages. The inevitable end of this predictable tale untold. And definitely not a romance.

I remember begging him for a story when he came in to tuck me in almost every night. The book was filled with lots of short stories, all of them about werewolves. I flipped to my favorite one, Little Red Riding Hood. It was about a young she-wolf who was taking her grandmother some food goods. Her grandmother lived in the forest oddly enough, instead of a pack where the little girl lived. When she got to her grandmother’s house and knocked on the door, a male-wolf answered the door. As soon as their eyes met, her wolf recognized him as her mate. It turned out that her grandmother had gotten hurt while out and the wolf had found her in distress, carried her home, and tended to her wound

Pain exploded from my scalp as a brutal force yanked me backward by my hair. A scream tore from my throat as I writhed in agony. Bright flames, ravenous eyes—these men were more terrifying than will-o'-the-wisps haunting a graveyard. "Don't waste my time! Kill her already!" Their savage laughter reverberated through the poisonous woods. The leader released his grip on my hair. The blade's gleaming edge caught the light, reflecting the misery etched across my filthy face. A flash of steel, a piercing pain in my chest—I couldn't bear it. I was going to die. The promises I made would remain unfulfilled.

It’s plain, with no writing, and thin maybe only twenty pages. “That is everything I have on Grimalkins, if there is any other information out there on what you are then I don’t know about it.” He shifts forward in his seat, elbows resting on his knees, “Tell me Crimson, what do you know about yourself? I will try to fill in the gaps as much as I can. And hopefully, that book will help you understand what you are.”

There are too many places that welcomed us along the way. In a few days, I arrived at their castle town where the King of Spirits resided. And now, I am waiting in that castle at this very moment. Having served with tea in a luxurious reception room, we were standing by. Its beautiful decorations showed not single inferiority compared to our castle. In the Country of Elves, there are many articles made from natural wood and ores/crystals. It seems that the Country of Fairies does not differ by much either. However, there are still some items that I could not imagine how they were processed on the inside.

From that time, they call her the Witch of Walden. Strangers and visitors alike adored Lea. She retreated on her shell and buried herself in books. She can be the princess that the prince would slay the dragon for or Cinderella with the glass slippers. Time flies. Growing into a young woman, she never once falls in love. Her world is the library. Lea is very popular among her peers, especially the boys. At an early age, Lea's love life was flourishing in secret. As the oldest child, her knowledge of the opposite sex was limited.

I knock on the door made me snap my head towards it. "Come in." I answered and soon, the person behind the door entered. I narrowed my eyes at him. "How is the plan for getting the princess working out?" I asked firmly. "Good, but I have something better." He replied. I looked at him in confusion. "What could possibly be better than an elemental werewolf, Drake?" I asked with asked raised eyebrow. Drake smirked and replied with a smug tone. "A fire breathing Gumiho, your highness."

I had to tell Cole. Cole was our Alpha and he would know exactly what to do with this information. What my brother and the other wolves dont know is that our pack has been under attck by witches using black magic. Dead wolves have been found around the territory with their hearts ripped out and turned to sludge. Weird symbols were carved into their bodies.

“Before I could even blink Aurora rubbed her plams together her eyes glowing as she disappeared somewhere around the corner. My heart begins to beat very fast, it's pounding in my chest like it's going to implode as I try to make sense of everything that has happened tonight. Suddenly Aurora appears back and I just stood there watching astonishingly as Aurora worked her magic. She looks different now, her hair is styled up, she's putting on a red demure dress, her breast and cleavage are out to entice. Seems she's more than ready for the ball than I am... I mean who says the fairy godmother can't attend the ball! My story seems to be different from the Cinderella story I knew when I was litt
