he said, lifting it by one corner and showing the cover to me, “is filled with the stories of our people. Every werewolf family has a copy, and all werewolf children grow up hearing the tales.” “So… they’re fairy tales like Cinderella? Or myths like Pandora’s Box?” I asked, taking the book and examining it. It was an old book with a dark green cover, embossed with gold scrolling around the edges and on the binding, with the title “The Goddess’s Tales” right in the center. Despite its age, it was still in wonderful condition, with hardly any deterioration.

It must have been hard for him to take a backseat for me. Rhys nodded his assent and Liz sighed heavily. "The Accords existed long before the Fall. In the days of magic and tales. Some women, and occasionally men, would find themselves in situations that mirrored old stories that came from the Supernatural world. Cinders Ella, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, the Brave Little Tailor." She glanced at Robbie. There was seriously something between them. "All stories collected by the Grimm's, written down, assessed." Robbie continued for her. "All of these tales repeat themselves, continuously. In a loop. Until we are all living some variation. Either the happy ones, or the sinister."

"There's a festival that takes months of preparation when you go to Silvenia, it’s called White Day. Since everyone is invited, designers from Silvenia might come and take your measurements for your suits and gowns. You can choose your own personal designers but I doubt no one knows Silvenian fashion better than Silvenian designers. People can dance over a frozen lake, don't worry about falling because it's been frozen for years that no one even knows what it looks like when the ice is all thawed. There's a legend that if a wolf howls while you're dancing on the frozen lake, it means that good things await you and your dancing partner so most people take the chance to dance with a loved one

CHAPTER ONE Grim Marie’s mother was dying. She had been dying for several years now, off and on, but this time seemed like it might actually be THE TIME. “I’m not ready for you to go, Mama,” Marie whispered to nobody in particular. She was putting together a basket for her mother, full of treats and homemade breads and jams. Grim Marie liked to cook. It set things right in her mind. She spent the morning pressing flour, salt, eggs, and water together to form noodles. She rolled them into dough. Cut them into strings. Let them dry around the tiny apartment like Christmas tinsel made of carbohydrates. Spider webs of love.

We all nod in agreement with Johnny. “The other books that mention the amulet seem to mainly be Pagan, Norse, Celtic or Viking fairy tales. The more modern stories seem to be variations of these stories.” “What are the stories about?” I ask yawning. “Mainly light versus dark, that sort of thing, or adaptations of that story like most fairy tales really. I’m going to read through again when I get chance. But for now I have other things to work on” Just as Johnny called it a night and for us to go to bed Will walked in and scooped up Rae in his arms. They left giggling and I couldn’t help but think they were so cute. They looked the perfect pair, they complimented each other in every way it wa

Lia sat cross-legged on the library floor, leaning back against the base of the overstuffed sofa and flipping through the children’s books and werewolf chapter books for young pups. Ellie and Elsie had left a while ago, promising to be back soon. All these stories about the moon goddess were so captivating! Why had her grandmother told the stories so differently? Here the goddess is seen as a protector of werewolves and the guardian of the earth! That is so much more consistent with the healing properties of the plants picked by moonlight. They say she watches over people and influences their moods and choices to keep them safe. Gran always said that Eric had too much energy during the full

(ongoing) c. Watt pad: The Misfit Trials: A twisted fairytle retelling where four petitioners are brought in front of a court of fairytale “villains” to get their revenge on the “heros” of their stories. The petitioners include: 1) Aegae, the product of Eric’s rape of Ariel, 2) Rumpelstilzchen, who is trying to find his son after a wizard made his son’s soul be transferred to different children if Rumpelstilzchen doesn’t find the child within it’s first year of life, 3) Grumpy Dwarf, seeking the court to save his remaining three brothers who have been enslaved by the sisters Snow White and Rose Red, and 4) Mother Gothel, who is trying to save the world from the sorceress, Rapunzel. The court

Elijah hums. “He is. But the snowman does not give up. He learns that far into the woods, there’s a fairy who can grant any of his wishes. So he starts his journey into the woods. But behind those woods lie evil creatures. He fights those evil creatures and wins. Then he meets the fairy, who grants him his one true desire. To live with the sun without melting. So the snowman gets to be with the sun again and lives happily ever after.”

It feels like walking through a dream where everyone is afraid to wake the monster. I find the library by accident. It has tall doors and it was half open. I slip inside, the air smells of dust and old leather. Thousands of books climb the walls. I pull one down at random; Grimm’s fairy tales. I sit down, flip it open and before I knew it I am reading it and almost half through it. I laugh once but it was a broken sound. The big bad wolf always wins. I put it back and run my fingers over the spines. I could stay here forever and no one would care.

Unity and harmony flourished, and the beings of different realms came together, forming friendships and alliances that transcended boundaries. One day, as the hero wandered through the bustling streets of The Enchanted Realm, they encountered a group of young beings gathered around a storyteller. The storyteller was regaling them with tales of the hero's epic journey, the battles fought, and the sacrifices made. The young beings listened with wide eyes, captivated by the tale. "And that, my dear young ones," the storyteller said with a flourish, "is the tale of the hero who embraced their destiny and brought light to the darkest corners of The Enchanted Realm and beyond."
