Dear Reader Thank you for reading the first chapter of the book called, My Crazy Normal. My Crazy Normal was originally written as an Interactive Story Game. I am in the process of adapting it into a novel form. The original version contains a great deal of dialogue to fit the platform for which it was intended. Though you can enjoy the story in its interactive format too as currently published. (eg when Kayley speaks, the format will be as this: Kayley ~ “Mike, what an awesome surprise. Where have you been?”)

Cara is used to crazy, after all, she is crazy and her dreams are crazy. Cara once dreamt of being a pilot, quite ironic considering the fact she hates heights. Crazy talks and crazy words are no surprise to her but this bomb dropped on her is beyond bonkers. "Wait let me get this straight, you want me to get fat?" There was the unsettling feeling that I wasn’t alone, wherever I was and I couldn’t tell whether I should be happy or filled with dread. It wasn’t until I heard the loud rumbles and screeches and smell the sharp reek of fuel that I was sucked out of the daunting abyss. I blinked wildly, trying to absorb my surroundings. Daylight pierced my eyes like shards of glass. My throat was dry and scraped like sandpaper and I felt my bottom lip split as I opened and closed it.
