Claimed by My Enemy Alpha Mate

Claimed by My Enemy Alpha Mate

I didn't dare touch his breath; I could only hope that the black crow would lead us to our destination faster, and faster. "Oh, Moon Goddess, I hope the person behind me wakes up soon," I prayed silently, sweat drenching my forehead and back, but I knew I couldn't stop. Before the sunset disappeared completely from the horizon, the crow led us across a stream dotted with countless cobblestones, then around a small grove of trees. Eventually, at the end of the road, I saw a peculiar-looking pier.

Marked in the Middle

Marked in the Middle

The southern wind carried a bitter taste of ash and iron. By dawn, the Queen’s Riders were already on the march, their cloaks snapping in the cold gray light. The forests thinned as they rode, replaced by blackened stumps and hollow soil that whispered of old wars. Evelyn rode at the head of the column, Kael beside her. The map strapped to her saddle was half-burnt at the edges, a relic from before the Crownless War but it was the only one that marked the road ahead. The Cursed Road.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Nobody knew anymore. Then suddenly— Thomas felt a strange sensation. A pulse. Coming from the First Fragment. Then another. Then another. The crown mark on his hand glowed. Blue light spread across his arm. Then he saw something. Not with his eyes. With the Fragment. Small blue lines appeared throughout the city. Invisible paths. Leading somewhere. Then the voice returned. The same ancient voice. "Follow the Crown Road." Thomas immediately changed direction. Then Ava shouted: "Where are you going?!"

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Crown of Secrets

Crown of Secrets

“Two days ago, Alexander personally took her to a private jeweler. Measurements, design consultations—he stayed the entire time.” My heart clenched. “There’s more,” Ethan continued. “And it gets worse.” “I accessed her private cloud. Password was Alexander’s birthday.” Inside were photos. Hundreds of them. I opened the file he sent. The album was titled: My Knight. The most recent post was dated two days ago. He said this crown belongs only to me. Just like him. Next week’s family dinner—he promised to give me a name. The image showed an exquisite bridal crown— diamonds and sapphires set in a constellation pattern.

Blood Wolves: The Ressurection

Blood Wolves: The Ressurection

The danger is already great without the young lord in the mix, and he did not expect that the young lord that seems to be traveling far away came back at the right moment to thwart his plans. Crow’s forehead creased into a frown as he moved back into the darkness before disappearing in the corner of the desolate street that he is in. His thoughts moved quickly, but he could not come up with any possible plans to enter the city lord manor and succeed in getting the treasure with Samel in the equation of worries that he needs to solve.

Blackwater Val

Blackwater Val

The candle flame wavered and abruptly winked out more than a yard away. Something trembled in the black church then, seemed to sigh almost, and a cold draft made its way through the darkness, scrabbling up the brickwork and over pews, twisting and convulsing up the aisle toward the doors. William Salt felt it pass but did not move; he remained stock-still with his arms crossed before him. Outside, the great lightning-struck oak rustled uneasily. An airborne crow, caught in the unnatural current, flopped and cawed until it was finally able to fly clear, glossy feathers ruffled but otherwise intact—this same crow would later peck out the eyes of its own young and leave the nest a scene of bloo

Lyra, His Second Chance Mate

Lyra, His Second Chance Mate

she murmured, low enough only he could hear. He didn’t look at her, but his hand brushed his sword hilt. “They’ll have it.” And yet, both of them knew - this road south would not be empty. The gods had stirred, and every mile they put behind them was only a pause before the next strike. Overhead, a crow wheeled against the rust-colored sky. It gave a harsh cry, then darted southward. As if even the omens were leading them into shadow.

Shadow's Essence

Shadow's Essence

Book 2: Crown of Shadows Chapter 1: The Departure The carriage door closed with finality that echoed through her chest like a death knell. Through crystal-clear windows enhanced with court magic far beyond territorial capabilities, she watched Shadoweave's spires fade into pre-dawn mist. Each familiar landmark disappeared with the inexorable permanence of choices that couldn't be unmade.

Crowned in Fire, Baptized in Blood

Crowned in Fire, Baptized in Blood

Measuring resolve. None of us blinked. Even Matt, who looked like the weight of the world had just been thrown onto his back, gave a slow nod. There was grief in his eyes, but no hesitation. “Okay,” Caden said, finally. “Let’s go.” — We drove in silence. Me and Caden took the lead in our truck, a caravan of black SUVs filled with warriors and ranked members trailing behind us like shadows. I sat in the passenger seat, eyes fixed on the road ahead, trying to slow my racing heart.

A Life Swap, A Road to Glory

A Life Swap, A Road to Glory

She roared, "Give it back to me! That's my food! They're my ticket to money! Give it back! Pay me!" Everyone ignored her. They thought she'd gone mad. The captain patted my shoulder. Seriously, he announced, "The food supplies are getting approved tomorrow. This village will not starve. This is all thanks to you, Catherine."
