Novel & Cerita The Curse

HIS CURSE; HER BLESSING (Isla’s POV) The chriping sound of the birds woke me up from my sleep. I barely slept after meeting with Sebastian. His words ringed in my mind, each laced with a warning I couldn’t ignore. I had known stepping into the Seedorf family wouldn’t be easy, but I hadn’t expected to be threatened within the first twenty-four hours. Still, I wasn’t going anywhere. I dressed quickly, choosing a simple outfit, and stepped out of my room.

I whisper. He pulled me into his arms and his lips found mine in the darkness, his hands wandering over my back before reaching down and grabbing my ass, pulling me closer to him. I sigh in pleasure as sparks of passion flicker between us, my arms clinging around his neck in an effort to keep myself standing. Eventually we broke apart and he smiled sheepishly at me. "I want to take you on a proper date, if you'd let me. I know our time together has a time limit thanks to your curse, but I want to do this properly."

I muttered out loud to myself, oblivious of my humming pendant. I felt my eyes become teary and my throat dry but I couldn't stop now. This is the only chance I will ever have to pour out my heart “While others found their mates and got their wolf gifts, I felt left out and like something was wrong with me. I never got to hunt with the pack, run in the forest, or experience transformation. All I could do was watch from the sidelines as everyone else figured things out. I started to believe that I was cursed and decided to give up hope of ever connecting with my wolf, finding my mate or falling in love. The incident with my brother only reinforced my decision to give up. I thought there was n

So he died from a heart attack. 'Then I became werewolf queen because the moon goddess chose me. It was a great responsibility.' 'When time went by, the curse kept torturing us. But each time my other life tried to break the curse, they chose the wrong mate and the curse went on.' 'With time the curse was called the black and white curse because of our wolf's colors.' 'You are a very special and important wolf, Tiene. You are in charge of breaking the curse. I hope you don't mess it up. This is a great responsibility and no joke.'

“This isn’t a random curse, Aria. This is targeted, specific, and incredibly sophisticated. Whoever placed this on you knew about your bloodline. They cursed you to prevent something from awakening.” “What bloodline?” I asked. “I’m just—I was just a Beta’s daughter. Nothing special.” “You’re far more than that,” Dr. Chen said. “But we’ll get to that. First, you need to understand the full extent of what this curse is doing.” She pulled up more data on the scanner. “The curse is also slowly killing you. It’s designed to appear like natural aging—gradual organ failure, weakening bones, deteriorating health. Most people cursed like this die in their forties or fi

“the curse continues adapting.” “What does that mean?” I inquired, glancing at Rodney. “It means,” Elder Mara replied , “the curse is no longer satisfied with simple physical warmth.” My brows rose. “I don’t understand.” After a moment’s hesitation, Healer Joshua finally pointed to symbols drawn across the old parchment. “The curse formed during a rejected mate transition. The Moon Omega bond failed which created some spiritual damage during the attempted mating process.” He glanced at Rodney. “The curse attached itself to the Alpha’s bonding instincts.”

I let out a sudden, incredulous laugh, sharp as glass. "Oh, come on. Don't tell me there's a bloody Disney reference in there. True love's kiss. You cannot be serious." His mouth twitched, but his eyes remained dark. "I thought the same when I read it. I wanted to laugh it off too. But Lilith..." He tapped the page. "It's not a fairy tale. It's what happened." "But then how am I still alive? I should be dead. The curse contained immortality as well." Silence pressed in on us, heavy and tight. At last he lifted his eyes, absolute and unflinching.

Beelzebub nodded his head as Crocell comforted me with a hug, placing a kiss on my head as if to say it wasn’t my fault. It really isn’t but if I knew how I was cursed, it would help a lot. “What do you have?” Crocell asked while still hugging me close. “Well… we all thought the curse is indestructible as long as fates permits it, and as long as the one who placed the curse is alive—of course, we can’t kill your father unless we want to wage war with heaven and promptly tip the universe’s balance and destroy pretty much everything you can imagine.” Beelzebub waved his hand and showed an ancient looking paper. “This is a Celtic m

It was unusual for Ethan to be so expressive, even to laugh so loudly. "Well you don't know William, Leona. William Redorge. A very famous action film actor and-" "Yeah I know that. He's a famous actor, and?" "Come on, Ethan! Let's go quickly!" interrupted William. Ethan cleared his throat. After that he rose from his position. "Okay, Miss Russell, looks like I have to go now, before the ferocious wolf attacks me," said Ethan. William glared at his cousin and assistant. Ethan could always call him a 'wolf' in front of Leona. What if the girl gets suspicious?

I had asked the wrong question. Marylin and Reges fell into confused silence because their understanding of the curse's definition was different from mine. "The curse has no center," Marylin, who was sitting next to me, said. "Instead, we summon it. With our power, we must gather the 10 elders of this village."
