The Cursed Gamer Novels & Stories

She ran her index finger along Sienna’s face and continued, “You; my Luv never died…” What Serena said made sense to Sienna. Rubbing her forehead, she muttered, “I never felt like I died either… technically I don’t know what death feels like but it just felt like me when I found myself here… I felt cold, lonely, and claustrophobic…” Serena was impressed by her analysis and decided to give her a bit of more information. “When Alaric refused my proposal three years ago, I was furious. So, I cursed him.” Walking around Sienna in circles, she continued, “Eventually, I realized that he won’t be mine even if his mate died. So, I twisted the curse so that his mate is trapped in my prison.”

If you got hurt or died in the game, your body in the real world would suffer serious damage too. I was the exception. I was cursed by birth and born with a violent aura. My temper had always been explosive, like I was wired wrong from the start. Luckily, the game had found me. Every month, I could come in, fight entities, blow off steam, and keep living a normal life. So even though I did well in the game, I never wanted my boyfriend to know this place existed. Once the game latched onto you, you could never leave unless you cleared it.

His work on making a hole in the webbing slowed considerably. "Use your damn head, young fur." Other ways to kill Wound were still playing on the wall but the healer seemed to be back to his infuriating, cryptic self. "You are born to a legacy of a race that lives and dies by their cleverness. The first game your ancient gamemaster gremlin ancestors started was when they gave us another flask. I think that's what needs to be figured out before we go any farther. But I know one thing about games, you can only forfeit or raise the bet. There are no take-backs."

For whatever reason, none of them wanted to be vulnerable again. ‘Right… There’s that rule.’ Farrah understood. One of the rules had made it clear… [ 1. Only the Cursed may enter the Game. Those whose names are written upon the Statue of Avarra shall be pulled into the Trials. You cannot summon yourself, nor refuse the call once chosen. ] Someone had written their names. Someone had cursed them. And if betrayal had brought them here… why would they trust anyone now? Shane remained beside her, silent for a moment as he watched the others vanish into the city’s haze. Then he turned to her.

The next morning, I cannot still tell or link what he was talking about. What did it mean? It sounded personal like he was remembering a traumatic experience. He was talking to his father and he mentioned something about the other one being cursed. What did that even mean? As far as I know, Cult and Jack are the only two cursed werewolves that I am aware of. Does he have a cursed brother? I ask myself as I watch the intruders filing up, I think they are doing some training as I watch them from upstairs.

"WAIT, GUYS. WHAT DOES 'cursed' even mean?" asked Ruthie. "Maybe it isn't so bad." Zander looked at me. I was starting to feel anxious. My sethian acquaintances included Conrad, Zander and his brother - and the Collector in a roundabout way. I had a pretty good idea who in that group might belong to the cursed category. "I don't know," I said. "Maybe." "Well, if we get to vote, I vote that Zander's jerk face brother is cursed," said Ruthie.

He browse for more and saw another news regarding the so called ‘Mysterious Game Arc of SHION revelation' even the headline sounds so cliché to him and simply watched it for another rant. The company was revealed a year before the First Worldwide release. The private company was named GamerTilEnd Studio Inc. which released an announcement about making the game a virtual reality and that enthusiastically made the players worldwide increase, also they have an add-on event of 'Real Cash Reward' for the newbie players which is an aim to help the poor players and that particular article irritated him to the max. “What a goddamn bragger. I knew it. This is a fucking scam, if I didn’t get a single

“The first time I saw him, I fell in love with him. He was like you—so kind, with a genuinely good heart. His gaze… it was clear and bright. You could tell right away… he was pure. So pure… so utterly innocent… innocent in a way that made him vulnerable…” His words came slowly, deliberately, as though speaking too quickly might shatter the memory. Leon’s Adam’s apple moved as he hesitated, finally forcing out a question. “Vulnerable? What… happened to him?” Jasper lowered his gaze, and for a fleeting moment, a fragility appeared in the corners of his eyes—something Leon had never seen before. “He was cursed.” The words were soft, but the weight behind them made Leon’s chest tighten. “The cur

He hesitates to answer. “Cursed.” He mumbles, I heard him, but I wanted to make sure it was really clear, “What?” “There’s a group referred to as The Enchanted. They are unnatural creatures that don’t really fit in anywhere. The subgroup for me is Cursed.” He seems upset by it, maybe that’s why he tries so hard to help people. If I was known as a Cursed person I’d want to do whatever I could to prove people wrong. I feel like I understand Corvu a little better.

“So you people have been on bad terms since then, is that it?” “Exactly. But you see, we Gammas have nothing to hide, but somehow everyone thinks we're dangerous and bad. What they don't know is that the angel they know, is worse than a devil—a beast.” “What do you mean?” “Every firstborn son born into their family is cursed the moment he ascends into kinghood. With great power that eats them up from the inside little by little until they fizzle out. None of them ever live past 30 years, and if you ask me, I think it's a befitting punishment for their greed.”
