It's kind of funny seeing a guy as confident and powerful and dangerous-looking stuttering like a 5 year old, but the situation is stopling me from laughing. He sits there and he doesn't say, or do anything, just sits there for a few long moments; I'm not even sure if he's breathing. And then, all of a sudden, he stands up, pushing the chair bacwards so hard that it falls over, and covers his face with his palms. "Motherfucker." he mumbles to himself and then gives me that dangerous look he has when he's planning to kill someone. Oh boy. "With who? You're pregnant with who?" he roars out and I want to sink into the ground because everybody's eyes are on us.

"I apologize for any misunderstandings, Yennifer. My actions were driven by a desire to protect you. To keep you safe from those who would seek to harm you." Yennifer hesitated, her heart pounding in her chest. "But why? Why did you go to such lengths?" Henry's gaze softened, and he gestured for Yennifer to take a seat beside him. "There are secrets and dangers that surround you, Yennifer. Ones that you may not yet fully comprehend. My intentions were never to control or manipulate you, but rather to shield you from the forces that threaten your well-being." Yennifer listened, her skepticism gradually giving way to a glimmer of understanding. "What secrets? What dangers?"

Asher replied and Henry smiled patting his shoulders. "Thank you." Henry said and Asher smiled at him. "Thanks to you for still believing me after whatever my brother had done to Kylie. I still can't believe that my brother had done this... I never thought he would do something like this... But, why would he do this?" Asher asked but it's more like, he is questioning himself with a frown. Henry and Sarah looked at each other before looking at him. "Yeah... It's kind of something I was thinking too... But, the only question that got into my mind was... Is Damon in danger?" Henry asked and Asher's head snapped at him.

For one disoriented second, Lance simply stood there, breath knocked slightly loose, staring up at broad shoulders and a face half-lit by the club's shifting blue light. Something about the stillness of the stranger cut through the haze of alcohol fogging his mind — a quiet, coiled sort of danger that even drunk instincts recognized. Neither of them moved. Daniel continued. “They’re only the shield.” “The real danger…” “…is the person they’ve been protecting.” Henry slowly closed his eyes. “He found out.” Daniel looked directly into the camera. “If you want to end this…” “…go to Black Haven.” He reached forward, as though speaking only to Amelia.

“And if I don’t?” “Then you walk out that door. And the next time someone comes for you, and believe me, they will, because people like you and me, we always have someone coming for us, you can handle it yourself.” He finally glanced over his shoulder. His expression was unreadable. “But I won’t be there to clean it up.” The threat was quiet. Real. This was it. This was the price. Not money. Not shares. Not sex. Humiliation.

“I’m not standing here alone with any of them though, am I?” Clearing his throat, still dense with lust, he sighed. “If I tell you, I put you in danger.” Zoe rolled her eyes. “Oh please, as if that isn’t the oldest line in the criminal’s handbook.” “It’s the truth.” “So, you just expect me to believe that I’m not in a dangerous situation right now?!”

He is concerned something is going on back down on the beach, something that can hurt me. Settling on his desk, he shuffles through the documents and some suspicious papers among the pile. He stands up and gathers the papers into a white file. His first thought was to show the documents to Catherine, his mother-in-law. She needs to see what he has found out. While Francis prepares to leave the office, the door swings open and two Internal Revenue Service officers dressed in their navy blue uniform walk in. Francis' heart skips a beat, confused and bothered about their presence.
