We should figure out how we want to engage with it. Make it more believable.”

“It should remind you not to care. The only thing that matters is that we stick to the plan.” I exhaled slowly, trying to calm my nerves. “And what’s the next step?” Ryan’s lips curled into a smirk. “We go on a date.” I blinked. “A… date?” He nodded. “A very public, very romantic date. If people want to believe this is a PR stunt, we’ll give them a love story they can’t deny.” I crossed my arms. “And how exactly do we do that?” He tilted his head, his gaze dark and unreadable. “Simple.
