Sunfall

Sunfall

An obsidian stone is inside my seal, and the guards fall over themselves to let us inside once they know who I am. The wall is ridiculously tall, made of thick, reinforced steel. I crane my neck back, move my hair back to see it all. The portly guard pulls a lever, and a portion of it lowers. Clunky and groaning, the ice flys out, the gate forcing its way open. The gate lowers completely, warm water slowly trickles out, and the inside of Estate Eclipse is steaming. I grab onto Dante and he helps me past the blocks of ice until we cross the other side of the gate.

Descending of the Moon

Dmitri asked in stutter with his eyes wide open as he stared at the glowing water in front of them. Romero immediately mind-linked her wife and passed on the message of their discovery to the enchantress. “What would that supposed to mean?” Calliope asked the enchantress but Inessa was still staring at the moon. “Calliope…” she called out before turning to looked at the anxious woman behind her. “I think the moon goddess had descended,” she uttered with her eyes glowing softly. In Bulan, Agatha opened her eyes and turned to her daughter who was waiting for her to say something.

Despair

Despair

I fell in love with a girl, I can never have and the best part is I can’t do anything about it. I lit my last cigarette and inhaled it so deeply that my mind went numb and at the end I couldn’t control myself and ended up going back to her house. I want to see her for one time only. Her room was at first floor. I climbed through chimney but at the end up hurting myself more, I found my brother there. They were sleeping soundly hugging each other. I fell down as my hands became numb. I heard the window door opening so I quickly and hid near the wall. Josh woke up and he looked down the window and then went

Despised at First Sight

Despised at First Sight

I couldn't believe that the hem of my dress and shoes were covered in mud. Then I laid eyes on the car. The driver of that Black Bugatti splashed water mixed with mud over me. 'Couldn't he slow down after the heavy rain?' My thoughts were completely overshadowed by this breathtakingly handsome guy who peeped through the window of the car. I never knew a guy could be this good looking, but my admiration for him ended with the words I heard coming out of his mouth.

I give the author more than 5 stars become i love the way she writes beautifully. however for this book, I ended up hating the ML, I feel no matter the reason he was too extreme with his ways. I was angry through out when I was reading. I cant wrap my head around his reasoning. the FL is too weak
Kara Aratna
I got here because I read some novels of the writer. the writing is really nice, It is indulging. but the female lead is weak and has no self-worth. the male lead has no backbone and stupid as well. for me, it's a sad ending for choosing the one who chose to hurt and betrayed you.

Escapades

Escapades

The Story of Russell and Samantha: NOTE, THIS EPISODE IS TAKEN FROM 'NOT YOUR AVERAGE GEEK', A STORY BY THE SAME AUTHOR CURRENTLY LEFT ON-HOLD. ***** I woke up drenched in sweat. It's almost November, yet California weather is as always; unpredictable.

The Tycoon's Forbidden Desire

The Tycoon's Forbidden Desire

The Descent into the Heart The descent into the North Sea was a journey through the "Forbidden" past. As the bell reached the seabed, the "Echo" surrounded them. Sarah didn't see a monster; she saw a gallery of her family’s choices. She saw the faces of the people the Vanderwalls had stepped on to build their towers, and the faces of the engineers the Vances had sacrificed to build their engines. She stepped out of the bell, protected only by a "Resonance Shroud." She stood before the massive, pulsing heart of copper and light.

The Last Descent

The Last Descent

"Your wound—" "I can dive." He did not press further. I pulled on my deep-dive suit and ran through the oxygen system and comms equipment several times before climbing into the solo submersible that had carried me for the past eight years. The hatch sealed shut. "Maren, the comms check is clean. You're clear to descend whenever you're ready." Brody's voice came through the headset. "Take me down." The submersible began to sink, dropping past 600 feet, then 1,300, then 2,000.

The Alpha’s Regret: The Hidden Luna’s Return

The Alpha’s Regret: The Hidden Luna’s Return

The descent was not a fall; it was a conquest. The "Lunar Chariot" sliced through the atmospheric friction of Silver Creek like a diamond through silk, the hull glowing with a pearlescent white that pushed back the suffocating violet haze of the "Obsidian Pulse." Inside the quartz cockpit, I could feel the planet’s new heartbeat—a wild, erratic thrumming of billions of souls waking up to a power they weren't prepared to hold.

The Don’s Dangerous Addiction

The Don’s Dangerous Addiction

The elevator plunged downward at breakneck speed, the metal cabin groaning softly as it cut through the earth. The descent felt endless, each second stretching into an eternity of silence. The only sounds were the faint hum of the machinery and Margaret's ragged, labored breathing—each exhale heavy with barely suppressed fury.

Reclaiming Mrs. Wolfe

Reclaiming Mrs. Wolfe

"Arthur thought he was building a shield. I thought I was building a throne. But the network... the network was just an artificial womb. The Ninety-Day Clause wasn't a timeline for a publishing contract or a corporate merger. It was the gestation period for a new species." The Descent We didn't take the elevator. The Spire's internal architecture was dead, its black glass stairs cracked and jagged. We scrambled down the maintenance shafts, our boots slipping on the fragments of the old world, the scent of sagebrush and salt growing stronger as we neared the desert floor.
