Cheating Husbands are Cancer

Cheating Husbands are Cancer

Perhaps his mistress had given him quite an earful, because he was a wretched and miserable sight. He presented me with a divorce application form, while making a plaintive appeal. “Rachel, let’s get a divorce. The doctor’s prognosis is… it’s bad. You have to get away from all this, while you still can. I’ve already divvied up our shared holdings. You’ll get half of everything. I’ll need my share for the medical fees—it probably won’t be enough, though. I just… I don’t know how much time this will buy me…”

Her Revenge

Her Revenge

Chapter 40 I never imagined that getting even may taste this delicious. Sitting across from my attorney, I gently arranged the stack of documents on the desk, running my fingers over the top embossed writing. Petition for Divorce: At last it was taking place. Years of shaping me into the ideal, compliant wife—a woman who would grin for the cameras, stand at his side, and never challenge his behavior—had gone towards But tonight I was shredding everything.

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

Atticus affirmed, “I’m here because I need your help with something.” “How can I assist you, Mr. Atticus? If I can, I’ll give it my all.” He looked as if he were grappling with his thoughts, trying to find the right words. Then he said two words that shocked me. “Divorce!” I was stunned for a good while. “Mr. Atticus, are you joking? I’m afraid I can’t help you with this. It’s not easy to dissolve one marriage. I can’t involve myself in just anything. Besides, you’re well aware of how your sister-in-law feels about me. I...”

It was a good book. A lot of the mixup/changes in names/locations was very annoying. Wish we would have gotten a little more out of the ending of one of the main villains. Chapters also needed to be longer; a lot of money spent on this book for 5-6 pages per chapter.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

No Present, No Apology, Just Divorce

No Present, No Apology, Just Divorce

"I'll hand you the divorce agreement in a short while, so you'd better clear out and make room for Patrick as soon as possible, Henry." She handed me the divorce agreement ten minutes later. She tapped them and said, "It was drawn up the day I got married—you certainly didn't let it go to waste, Henry." I suppressed that ill-timed sorrow in the depths of my heart and carefully signed my name on the agreement. Jasmine leaned on Patrick and walked away, glancing at me with her usual indifference just before leaving. "I hope you hold out longer this time and don't come begging me again, Henry."

Divorce ?... That's Foreplay

Divorce ?... That's Foreplay

Then he slid a brown envelope across the desk toward me. My eyes dropped to it and my stomach turned to nuts The words on the front were like nails in my chest. Breathing suddenly felt like something I had to remember how to do. Still, I kept my face calm. “I want a divorce, Aria,” he said. And just like that, everything inside me broke further….quietly. “What?” I asked, even though I’d heard him clearly the first time. “I want a divorce,” he repeated, like he was twisting the knife a little deeper.

The Last Divorce

The Last Divorce

The only person who visited him during that time was Damon, who brought two documents with him: the divorce agreement Ryland had signed and the finalized property settlement. He handed both to Ryland, who was alone, completing his discharge paperwork. "Mr. Webster, the waiting period has ended. As of today, you and Ms. Cameron are officially divorced." Looking at his own signature on the divorce papers, Ryland thought back to a month earlier. Back then, he'd watched eagerly as I signed my name. Now all that remained was despair. He laughed at himself for believing he could have everything he wanted. He laughed at his own selfishness and the reckless way he'd pushed himself into a dead end.

Unexpected Reunion with the Ex-Husband

Unexpected Reunion with the Ex-Husband

He stood up slowly, his face returning to the past cold and distant demeanor. He took out a small green booklet from his bag and tossed it onto me, saying, "No need to go through the trouble. This is what you've been yearning for." I was momentarily stunned, holding it in my hands. On the deep green cover, the words "Divorce Document" shone uncomfortably in the sunlight, and I couldn't help but smile bitterly. Jaclyn Dills was indeed that kind of person; when it came to divorce, he could handle it without my involvement. I suddenly looked up, "Perry."

Divorced Husband, His Regret

Divorced Husband, His Regret

“Sign this.” “What’s this?” I asked, reaching for it slowly. “Divorce papers,” he said flatly. My heart dropped. I instinctively stepped back from the document, shaking my head in disbelief. Divorce? He had to be joking. We’ve been together for years. Sure, I’ve thought about walking away before, but I never did. Now he’s the one bringing up divorce? I forced a shaky smile, trying to stay composed. “What is this, really?” “I said I want a divorce. Sign it.”

Second Chance for the Billionaire

Second Chance for the Billionaire

"Mr. Northridge, you've misunderstood. I'm not here to chat with Grandma today. I've come to persuade her to agree to the divorce. She's been kind to me, and I want to bid her a proper farewell." Northridge scrutinized her for a few seconds, his expression a mix of emotions. "The prenuptial agreement safeguards Reginald's pre-marital and marital assets, so you have no claim to those assets. As for compensation, a hundred million suddenly appeared in your account a few months back; I assume it was his favor?" Arabella nodded. "Yes." Northridge opened his briefcase and produced a stack of documents, handing them to Arabella. "My lawyer has prepared the divorce agreement. Review it, and if ther
