The Dragons Propsal Novels & Stories

The voice did not use words, but the meaning crashed against my consciousness with the force of a tidal wave. The water around me boiled instantly, turning from freezing cold to scorching heat. A pair of colossal, glowing amber eyes opened in the abyssal dark above the basin, each eye larger than a carriage, burning with an unquenchable fire that illuminated towering scales of obsidian and gold. It was Ignis, the Dragon Emperor, sealed away in the darkest prison of the world for epochs. Instantly, the ancient beast released a fraction of its true aura, projecting a crushing wave of spiritual pressure designed to grind any intruder's mind into nothingness.

Her heart jolted, not only from fear but from the way his gaze locked onto hers—unyielding, as if she were the only anchor he had left in this unraveling world. “I was born for this,” she whispered, voice trembling but steady. “The dragons answer to him because he wears the firebrand crown. But the prophecy doesn’t belong to him, Kaelen. It belongs to us.” Before he could reply, another roar shook the heavens. A dragon dove, its scales molten, its wings blotting out the sun. Serenya threw herself aside as its talons scraped stone, pulling half the wall with it. Kaelen rolled beside her, shielding her with his body as debris rained down.

I smiled at her, knowing she was only speaking up for her friends. She smiled with a nod and wrapped her arm around Crysanthi's as I led the way to my office. I had to grab more chairs from the office next door so that we could all be seated comfortably. We discussed the work that would be needed to rebuild the Dragon kingdom, as much of it had been destroyed through the flames and fighting over Princess Ember. Genevieve spoke about the packs closest to the kingdom's borders and how many of the wolves there would be providing assistance as well as the provisions that would be needed for the rebuild. Fioré told her that the Dragons didn't mind flying the materials in, to which she laughed and

Both dragons left the hall, now more conflicted than ever. “And what of these salves the elders put on him? The potions and drinks they give him constantly?” Both dragons stood still, unsure what they should do. They did not have enough evidence, but their dragons only agreed with them that something must be done. Adam’s screams became louder, causing their dragons to wince. “We must find Alpha Amora then,” one spoke, “and find out the real reason she has left.” ….

She fixed her eyes on Cory’s side face and asked, “Is that true, Cory? You really told her that? We are mates for the Moon Goddess’s sake! How could you-” “Dragons don’t do the mate thing,” Lennie interrupted her rudely, “Mate bond is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. We dragons won’t allow anything or anyone to choose partners for us. We just choose whoever we like and be with them.” She curled up her lips to a snooty smile, and then looked at Cory. “Isn’t it, sweetie? You proposed to me in the same season. You don’t buy the mate thing either. Compared with your allegedly fated mate, it’s me you truly love.”

Rodrick added though his tone was far from concerned or sad. "probably because the dragons scorched their homes," Damian said rolling his eyes, "that forest was their home, when their magic went, Ignere became bitter," I turned to all of them, "We need a solution, or all of us are going to lose our thrones and everything else, as the last prophecy foretells, and "in his due age the dragon and power within him will smite the last of his enemies and with him holds the power of their permanent extinction. Thus the king shall rise"

As their eyes met April was transported back in time, to a world where the sands she stood on were a mass of volcanic activity, dragons bathed in the lava and cavorted with one another, free from the shackles and the binds of humans. "I am Kukulkan, God of all dragons...Adrastus is my son, the prophecy states a wolf in women's skin will come and enslave the forsaken son, taming him with her heart and ensnaring him with her courage; dragons and wolves will go to war; the fire shall rain from the sky and blood will soak the earth without end until the Gods favoured woman makes a choice, one will die, one will burn and the woman will take her chosen true form, ruling their kingdom forever, only

“That was fucking hot.” I pressed my hands to my face and laughed. My breasts jiggled on camera. “You keep that up, I’m going to storm your bedroom,” Kieran groaned. I recoiled a little at that. “I don’t think I’m ready for that.” “Kidding, kidding,” he quickly reassured me. Still a bit uneasy, I leaned back towards the camera. “Really, though, tell me more about real dragons.” He looked offscreen in contemplation. Then he nodded to himself and turned back. “Alright, beautiful, here’s how it goes. Most of the nobility in the Blazing Isles are dragon shifters, like me.”

The All Kingdom Faire is a set of exhibits and displays gathered together in a large open courtyard set just to the side of the castle in a wide-open field. All the major continents have representatives from their various nations--Including the Celestial Kingdom. Ursa sent a last-minute contingent of scientists demonstrating our techniques for collecting power directly from the star our planet rotates as a "clean and humane alternative to soul-fire energy," in the hopes that Luxandra and other kingdoms like it will give up on enslaving other

Tordin whispered, the man who had been silent in the group. Zarek would murder everyone if anything were to happen to his mate. Dragons were extremely protective of their mates, killing to protect them if needed. Being the largest dragon in existence, there was no telling what would happen should his mate die. “Let us research as much as we can. Find any records, should they exist, of this working.” Samelle shut the book, drawing in ragged breaths. Fear raced icily through his veins. He would not fail Zarek again.
