Can you honestly tell me you remember what you did in there?” I yelled. “I know myself and I wouldn't sleep with some random stranger,” she said as she looked at me. “Except that you did."

The day my birth parents found me, the reunion banquet they threw turned into their funeral. My parents and their adopted daughter, Leila, died of food poisoning that night. I guess it was a mistake to move to a town where secrets are blacker than dark but she didn't have a choice, right?
