"I don't give a shit. I need to calm her or she might rip the foundations from the ground," I hissed and shrugged her hand off of me. "Keep an eye out. If I can't calm her within ten minutes, start ushering everyone to safety."

asked the sun emperor, pretending to be confused. "Father, they are my fish, so of course I have to take responsibility for them. If I ask the servants to do it, then I don't have truth in my heart. Isn't it true that we are responsible for ourselves?" replied the emperor's daughter with her cute face staring at him. The dragon emperor smiled at his daughter's gaze. Their breaths were caught as the Black Emperor knelt before a woman. "Who is she?" "I heard she's the daughter of Duke Gree, but wasn't she sickly and had a child out of wedlock?" Question after question rolled in hushed tones, too afraid to voice out loud who the woman now offering her hand to the Black Emperor was. One wrong answer, and their heads might roll before they get a chance to find out.

The Empress begged as tears escaped her eyes and silently fell on her pillow. The Emperor sat in his study starring at the fire and the more he thought the more he was getting pissed off. How dare some mutt claim his daughter as his mate! Didn’t he know that she was already spoken for!? How could she go along with this? They had to of brainwashed her. It was the only logical explanation that he could come up with. She was still so young. She doesn’t know what a true mate bond would even feel like.

"Tonight, I officially introduce to all of North America my sole heir. My daughter, Aurora." The entire crowd gasped. "The Alpha King has a daughter?!" "Goddess, she is the future Alpha Queen!" Amidst the sea of shocked whispers, my father turned and reached his massive hand toward the backstage shadows. "Come out, my princess." I took a steadying breath, lifted the hem of my heavy dress, and slowly stepped out of the shadows.

“These servants understood, Your Excellency.” The emperor gritted his teeth and dismissed him right after. He glanced at me and his eyes softened. “Lady Sidrich, your father is like a brother to me. My deepest condolences and apologies upon being unaware of his death. I did not also know he had a daughter. We would've taken care of you if I knew.” I blinked my teary eyes. The empress smiled gently. “Yes, dear. You know, we have been praying to have a daughter, but we were given two sons instead, but it's okay. It would be appreciated if you started calling us your mother and father. We will take care of you.”
